On week 2 of first cycle.
Test cyp 300mg E5D
Anastrozole .25mg EOD
Been checking my bp and last two days it’s been around 150/90
My pre workout drink actually decreased it to 140/80 probably because of vascular expanding.
Any advice or help? Last thing I wanna do is get on a hbp medication due to my use of AAS.
seems like it got up there pretty quickly given you are taking long estered test. baby asprin, hawthorn berry, celery seed, and or celery juice will help lower it. I would say get your hemoglobin and hematocrit checked but it’s not even been two weeks, what are your stats, and like yogi said, what was it pre cycle?
something else important to add, if you are going to a pharmacy store or walmart or something like that and using their cuff machine or even a cuff machine at your gym it’s most likely giving you bullshit numbers. you need to purchase a decent blood pressure monitor from a pharmacy, I use an omron wrist cuff, cost me 100 bucks but definitely worth it.
Off cycle it hovers anywhere from 120/80 to 130/85. I also have a decent wrist cuff so I doubt that’s the culprit. I’m 6’1 235 at about 15% bf. I know my cardio shape is horrible due to neglect so I’m hitting 25 minutes everyday.
PS: I also notice I sweat an absurd amount during workouts now. Like
I litteraly jumped out of a pool. Drinking a gallon of water a day. I will buy those natural supplements recommended such as Hawthorne berry. Any other tips?
i too sweat like a mother fucker while working out, i soak every piece of equipment i touch so i don’t think that necessarily has anything to do with blood pressure. since i started doing low intensity cardio 30 min every training day my bp has dropped to 120/70, so cardio could definitely help you.
Steady-state cardio (not to lose fat but for HEALTH) x 2 a week 20min easy going. I won’t list the benefits they should be obvious but things such as better blood flow, capillary optimization, more volume to legs which is always a good thing and increasing cardio-vascular capacity which is a good baseline for lifting weights in terms of better pumps and better recovery.
Garlic, cinnamon and tumeric to meals.
Watch cheat meals, play this by ear.
Limit caffeine throughout the day.
Coq10 is easy to buy and is GREAT for dropping bp naturally, added into those above mentioned natural supplements
Also 2 weeks into first cycle these reactions are normal. You are injecting above normal amounts of hormones into your blood your body WILL REACT then it will ADAPT. You are not blasting a huge amount of gear by any means so don’t worry. Enjoy the gains and time learning how your body changes. It will make your mind become strong like your body. Everytime I switch compounds or increase the dose I get mild reactions like this. Means your gear is working and your body is adapting.
Great advice Diluted 56! Thanks guys. I will keep an eye on it. The guy who taught me everything said he expeiences increased BP as well for the first few weeks while the body adjusts, same advice you have Diluted56.
I also have a theory (backed up by no known evidence only intuition).
1: The body can become dependent on drugs and other compounds if exposed to them long enough.
2: Nitric oxide is naturally produced in the body to enable vascular expansion and regulate blood pressure.
3: Nitric oxide is also in pre-workout drinks.
4: Consuming pre-workout drinks for too long will cause the body to become dependent on the nitric oxide supplement and be unable to produce it’s own supply.
Therefore, high blood pressure can result from consistent use of pre-workout drinks or nitric oxide supps.
ehh, im sure everyones different but i use amino core by O.N. with nitric oxide in it and haven’t noticed any of those effects, but then again I haven’t used it for that long. The caffeine in it can increase my pulse slightly though and im sure could contribute to a minor temporary increase in bp.
