I will finish up the 4th week workouts this Monday and after two days off will have the lower intensity/volume week.
So after that - do I go back to the 6 exercise protocol and rump up to the 9 again?

That was addressed in the 30-10-30 thread . If youāre going thru it again, add 5% to the weight.

Iāll probably either stay with the weight or lower slightly. I read the book but glossed over the part of doing 10 reps with a weight I should have been able to get 12 with. Due to this - I did feel a bit run down during the week. My 10th rep was usually the last rep I could do then I would do the 30 second negative and it was extremely difficult or I would get 20 seconds.
I did the reps perfectly though and want to make sure the form is just as good. I think sloppy reps probably stole from possible gains in the past. Just trying to get the rep complete - instead of contracting the muscle with the weight in my handsā¦

In that case I would do it again, but lower the weight! Getting the right weight to follow the program is one of the most important factors imo
