I was 35 days into PCT after finishing an 8 weeker (on Sust 750mg/week, Tren 75mg/day, 20mg D-bol/day and I dropped the Sust at week 6 and switched to Prop.) and just had my blood test results. I phoned up to get them and the nurse says my testosterone levels are sky high! But she doesn’t have the exact numbers and I have to talk to my doc. He wants me to get another blood test done and apparently asked what ‘supplements’ I may have taken.
My question is: is there any reason as to why I may have high test levels 5 weeks into PCT on 50mg Clomid a day?
The blood work was for Total Testosterone. Unfortunately didn’t want to give the game away and ask for free testosterone levels as well. Told him I had lowered libido and was worried about my test levels. He was suspicious when I asked for the tests but now he KNOWS so I may as well come clean.
Unless it could seriously affect your job/livelyhood that your doctors medical records of you show you having took/admitted to taking steroids, I’d just tell him. Go to anabolicboard.com and look for posts on how to talk to your doctor about this topic (fleem posted it I think). There are ways that this can/should be handled without any real worries. Let me know if you can’t find it.
You didn’t account for the decanoate ester! yes fellow forumers this ester last a LONG time!
Its half life is as long or longer than 15 days!
This means that after all that time, the week of your blood work, you still had 196 mg of testosterone deconate yet to be released into your system. the week prior you had 271 mg still in your system.
so… 271 - 196 = a loss of 75 mg of test. divide this over a week and we get: about 10.71 mg active exogenous testosterone in the blood per day. Now this is a high normal test level!
Even the following week:
196mg - 142mg 54 mg / 7 = 7.71 mg of testosterone releasing per day. this is still a realatively high level.
I hate to say this but anything that contains the decanoate ester is a bitch to recover from! if you are attempting a shorter cycle stick to the propinate, cypionate, or enantate esters!
I have had a long look at the amounts of test in my body and done loads of calculations and on day 90 after starting my cycle, with last sust shot on day 35 and last prop shot on day 56 end of cycle.
By my calculations the total amount of exogenous test on day of blood test was 48.61mg. The amount released based on half life that day was 2.5mg. If I have around 50dL of blood volume that is 50ng/dL released. How does this relate to the the actual level of testosterone as measured on the blood tests?
