God is real to me, but I completely understand why some people donā€™t believe. I donā€™t get mad at people for not believing as long as theyā€™re cool about it. I get mad at people for being religious zealots (annoying as all hell) and people who aggressively and purposefully deny the existence of God to a fault.

One thing doesnā€™t make sense to me, though. If God is real, and you believe, youā€™re going to Heaven. If God is real, and you donā€™t believe, youā€™re going to Hell. If God is not real, and you believe, nothing happens. And if God is not real and you do not believe, nothing happens. So why on earth would anyone not believe in God?

And do people actually think this infinite universe was created from nothing, by something? How was the universe created if nothing existed before it? For something to be created, it must have a creator. For a series of actions to occur, something needs to set the first object in motion, and act upon it. This is the main reason why I believe God exists. Thereā€™s simply no other way, in my mind anyways, that the universe could have come about
