How long into the cycle should you start the HCG?
Lets say your doing a basic stack of
EQ and Test for 10 weeks.
Front load for 2 weeks with 750mg a sust
Sust 500mg ew
EQ 500mg ew
Liquidex .25
Yah but we have been talking about only doing hcg as a weekend protocol, just to hold testicular size. 500iu every day, in my opinion is not needed for this and will cause too much aromatisation as well, and is also risking desensitization of the testes. And I don’t agree with not doing hcg “in the taper” because if you use longer acting esters up untill the end of your cycle, and you are doing a gram a week, it could take up to 6 weeks to return to normal physiological levels. by that time you would definitely have raisen nuts.
suppression begins around week 3, so in my opinion I would begin at the end of week 3 or week 4 the latest. I also usually use my testicular size as a guide… If I think they are starting to shrink… time for a shot of hcg!

The only time that hcg would make sense post cycle is in the initial period after injections while exogenous testosterone levels are still elevated… But not after clearance as stated this can actually hinder recovery due the the reasons previously stated… At least this is the way I’ve been led to understand it.
In truth I’ve used hcg on occasion and have done cycles without it. My cycles are relatively short compared to some. Generally eight weekers. So it has never made THAT much of a difference to my recovery.

I read a post on another board by Bill R. on this issue and he said" that if you have the supply, you should use 500 mg of HCG EVERY DAY thru out the cycle.
I read the post yesterday. I don’t recall him stating the length of the cycle.
What does that tell you about desensitization?
It says to use it DURING THE CYCLE>
i have a question that i dont think has been covered.
obviously everyone seems to agree that hcg should be used during cycle to stave off testicular atrophy.
wel lets say you didnt use it throughout and your nuts never shrank despite being on a heavy cycle. should you still use a small amount during your last week of injections to make sure your boys are functioning properly?
for example today is my last day of injections. however i will still have test in my system until the end of next week due to the deconate ester. is it ok to use say 250iu today and tomorrow even though my balls never shrank?
any thoughts?
I don’t think it would hurt P-Dog. Keep in mind that it greatly increases the aromatization also, so make sure you have Nolva on hand.
Yah but P-dog, your gear was fake! see you grew because of the placebo effect! Thats why your nuts didn’t shrinK! :)!

I think it would be a good idea to use the HCG even that late in the cycle.
for 1 you don’t have an accurate way of measuring testicular attrophy. You may think they are the same size, yet they may have shrunken so gradually that you havn’t noticed the change.
For 2 They may have stayed the same size, but they may have lost some ability to function, from lack of use. I have watched my arm shrink a lean 2 inches in a span of 3 weeks from being in a cast, thats a considerable amount of muscle! And I believe the same applies for any structure in the body - if it is unused, it will slowly lose the ability to function.
