50mg Clomid
tapered his way up to 4 pills of Clen. 2 weeks on 2 off.
This is the email I received from him this morning. This is the doc to him.
“He said that my Kidneys aren’t working properly and that it isn’t clearing something from my urine. He said that something I am taking, or drinking except I haven’t really been drinking for over a month, is KILLING my liver cells and my liver. He said that some over the counter stuff you can take is TOXIC to the liver like Asthma Medicine among other things. I am supposed to stop taking anything except vitamins and NO DRINKING FOR ONE MONTH. This sucks. Oh and my Blood Pressure is high too.”
Now I am no newbie to this. I just don’t post unless I have a important question. I am not concerned with his high blood pressure. but I am worried about the kidneys/ liver problem. I have never came across or heard of a problem like this before. I just don’t want him to end up like Flex Wheeler or anything like that. Has anyone heard of anything like this before.
Well, winstrol is a 17-aa whether it is depot or via oral. This type of steroid will increase liver activity, causing a change in liver enzyme values in the blood which the doctor may have noticed. Additionally, steroids can affect your blood pressure (clen will probably affect this too) and cholesterol profile, being that all steroids are derivatives of cholesterol in the first place (unless first year bio steered me wrong). Anyway, likely the doctor does not know what your friend is doing, and therefore thinks hes taking a pantload of tylenol or has a drinking problem or something which is skewing his liver values and his blood pressure. Being that doctors like to err on the side of caution, he has made it seem to your friend like this is a big crisis and he should fix it right away.
However, everything will go back to normal upon completion of the cycle. This is just a temporary thing that your friend is doing, hes not habitually abusing cold medication or something like that which the doctor might suspect. But if he is really concerned he can seek another opinion from a better informed doctor.
Don’t really know too much about this but Clenbutoral is an asthma treating agent so I’d cease that straight off if the doc said that they could cause problems. And drop the winny. If this is the cause then this guy must be extremely sensitive or has an already dodgy liver/kidneys. I would at least tell the doc exactly what he’s been taking. We are talking a serious problem here. You can’t survive without a liver!
I don’t actually think we’re talking about that serious of a problem. The doctor has noticed elevated liver enzyme values and in the interest of not getting sued if something bad happens, has made this out to be a terrible situation. Before i did anything drastic i would speak to another doctor or tell this one what your friend is doing. Likely though this doctor is still going to freak because he doesnt know anything about steroids. It is your friends call but this is my take on the situation.
JP thanks for your input. Like I said before. I basically have been coaching my friend over the phone and via email through this whole thing. I called my doctor back in the states and he just saw him this morning. Explained his situation. The doctor advised him that his enzymes just were elevated. Its was nothing to worry about. He told him to take milk thistle (which I told him to take in the first place) Everything will go back to normal once he discontinues his cycle. Thanks for all of your input.
