Diet:
I don’t like to count calories, but when I made my diet I aimed for the 3500 calorie range and try not to cheat, if I cheat ill mention it on here so I can pinpoint why I failed and not think I’m a hopelessly fat, can’t lose weight person haha (I have a training log and copied and pasted).
Someone mentioned I needed more protein?
Breakfast:
1 cup of oatmeal
1/2 cup of frozen berries
2 ounces of raisins
2 Eggs (whole)
1 cup of milk
or
2 slices of whole wheat bread
1 egg
1 slice of cheese
1 cup of milk
Mid-Morning:
1 1/2 cup of collard greens
1 can of tuna
1 apple
Lunch:
1 banana
1 orange
1 chicken breast
2 cups of salad
2 ounces of mushrooms
2 ounces of tomatoes
2 ounces of shredded cheese
Post-Workout:
Protein shake (just On-Why Protein and water)
Investigating adding some carbs to the shake
Dinner:
2 cups of plain yogurt
1/2 fresh berries
2 ounces raisins
2 mixed nuts
or
New York Sirloin Steak 12 ounce
2 cups of collard greens or mixed veggies
Snacks:
If I get hungry or tempted I have a little baggy of mixed nuts and raisins on hand.
If your primary goal is to shed fat, I think you need more protein overall and to structure your carbs more around your training rather than having them at each meal.
I would cut out the yogurt, as it probably has alot of sugar in it.
I would limit the fruit to maybe 1 or 2 servings a day, keeping the berries or apple. Cut out the raisins and bananas.
Add in some healthy fats - nuts, olive oil, fish oil, etc.
I would also cut out the whole wheat bread for fat loss, save that for when you are bulking.

x 2 , your diet seems high in carbs, imho if you wanna drop that 5-6 percent and maintain lbm you would be smart to do as rach2784 stated.
I think I would briefly cry in a corner if I dropped below 240lbs…but I guess it must be done. I’ll try to fit in your recommendations rach, thanks a bundle.
