Help with Eggs

Hi all…I just love this thread.

Free, I understand that the threat of salmonella contamination is principally from the exterior of the shells. One of the USDA pamphlets I’ve come across suggests that you wash your eggs in a mild solution of water and chlorine bleach as a way of minimizing exposure. If you really do have a mutant stomach, why bother? I also seem to be impervious to everything. As far as I know, the interior of the egg is sterile until the shell is broken and the inner membranes are pierced.

Jeff, thanks for clearing up my convoluted english. And, yes, I too like to fart. Alot.

Jeff Bittman, these are over the counter generic HCl tablets from any health food store. Don’t get any “special” brands or formulas, either, you don’t need them. A bottle doesn’t cost me more than $4.00-5.00. If they seem to help you, try tapering off them after several days.

Ripped, I didn't mean to say that I didn't think you weren't eating as much protein as you said you were (or is it weren't?) A little testy, aren't we? But seriously, I just think you might be able to get more out of your food if your digestion were optimized. Excessive and foul-smelling gas is usually a sign that digestion is compromised.

Merry Xmas, everybody!
