Help with Cardio

I am flying home tonight for an indefinate amount of time (my mom is ill). I am going to have to give up the weight training until I get back. I plan on doing a 20 or 30 min run a day 5 or 6 times a week that will include sprints & maybe not depending on how I feel that day.

Currently I have been doing cardio 3 times a week, sometimes 4 but rarely. Will this have any kind of “negative” impact; I’m thinking its better than nothing. Suggesting I find a local gym is just not going to work out for several reasons and the reasons aren’t going to change no matter what I do.

Surely this has got to be better than nothing. Fat loss is always a goal but I’m also wondering when I return home and go back to 3 times a week will that have an impact? Can you tell me why or why not. Thanks for any input.

We have several articles in the archives about bodyweight-only workouts. You might have to hold off on the weights, but not resistance training.
