One mile run in Michigan? Either they’re fast with the snowplows, or you’re really dedicated.

Cav- we were on the edge of the storm,20 miles north they got 18" and everyone close to the lake just had alot of rain. We have only had about max 6 inches of snow on the ground at one time this year.

BP up to 325 for 1 this was easy could have done 10-15# more. Sick today.

Sparing with sons 45 min.

You were doing dips and chins in the wind??? That’s ballsy.

Cav - Sons are 15 and 10, 15 yo is getting fast and seems to pick up combinations way to fast. The 10 y/o got his first training sesson last night. With my own kids I never push them,they have to ask for training from judo to boxing to shooting and hunting. It seems to work better that way.

DL’s yesterday with last set was 315 with one lift every thiry seconds for 10 minutes, grip was failing at the end. I think I really need to spend some time with a trainer on my DL. I think my three ruptured discs are preventing me from engaging my posterior change effectively ( or something ).

305 for 2 sets of 10 is really nothing to sneeze at…I could totally understand why you wouldn’t want to engage your posterior chain with 3 ruptured discs?

Matty - Thanks but I have been stagnant for to long; I found a 3 mos program (Twelve weeks to a better Deadlift)and I have to do something I feel like I’m spiinning my wheels and going nowhere.

I know exactly how you feel.

I’m hoping to build up to 2 miles. Do you time your runs?

Brett- I did 2 miles the other day on the treadmill at 6 mph , so 20 minutes. Since stopping my landscaping for the season I have gained 15# now I’m at 250. So I am going to be running 3-4 times a wk and try some portion control. I saw your video, looks like your lighter than last year, squats looked solid. Thanks for stopping by.

walked 3 miles

I have a small lawn care business and I think it adds to my conditioning and overall strength. Carrying a 25lbs backpack blower for time through the day and extending to use my weed, branch trimming, and edging implements works the core, shoulders, and arms. What do you think? I say I do light training all day then come home and lift heavy.

Gorilla- I agree it is good for the core, it carries over to alot of lifts. Also I think those activities lend a lot to functional flexability. Keep on keeping on gorilla. Thanks for stopping by. Mike
