I’ve noticed a trend here with the pause squats, seriously don’t they suck enough without making them take longer, you kids and your new fangled lifting ideas. Nice work by the way.

Thanks for stoppin in Fischer, I read your log frequently. Any advise is welcome. I started 531 today don’t know if I will convert or stick with WS4SB to me it looks at first glance like 531 may leave a couple of weak spots. I figure its worth the honest try given all the mileage guys have been giving it. I am generaly not a patient type of person , that said given my overdoit nature this mite be just what I need , only time will tell. I you have any thoughts chime in. My goals are to prep for a meet in the spring (Aprilish).

Fischer turned me on to these horrible pause squat thingies, I really think they help with the burst outta the hole. Are you using 5/3/1 for PLing? I found that one more PL intensive (duh) as it gives some good templates to follow when you are closer to your meet and allows for singles which is always fun

Hel my brother I’m running full speed away from father time, he is at my heels. Really I know what you mean and right know lap swim at the local pool doesn’t fit into my schedule. I figure a little running won’t hurt much. After the new year I’ll be in there (pool) for almost all my cardio. Looks like you doing great with your lifting whats the goals for this year, other than staying upright.

Run , ran like G&( D$%# Forest Gump, got started and couldn’t stop. Ran 7 miles in 64 minutes. Wow I know I’m gonna pay for this in the morning. Have not done this kind of distance in 10 years,since I gave up fightin.

Wow. Well, when you’re feeling good enough that you can’t stop moving, don’t fight it.
