Most of these are probably mandatory culture TC, but maybe there are one or two forgotten classics in there.
You don’t even have to listen to the song. Just send me my free stuff now.
If you listen to this song in your car, you will want to drive off a cliff at 120 miles an hour and become one with the boundless eternity of the universe.
BTW, that is how you judge a good song.
BTW, you dont have to give me no free stuff. This is my gift to you.

You want specific songs, or artists?
if you are into alt rock you should check out bloc party. They fucking rock. They have some really good beats, lots of uptempo stuff.
Like eating glass is the first song on their album “Silent Alarm” it’s pretty stellar. Other good tracks include Banquet, Helicopter, Positive Tension, Little Thoughts, Price of Gasoline.

Hey TC what’s wrong with Blood, Sweat and Tears?
I like to pump the iron listening to old school rock, especailly the Doors; slap on that Doors Greatest Hits CD and do your thing (Break on Through and Roadhouse Blues).
In my opinion, alot, ALOT, of the newer stuff is just noisy.
Anything that is classified as Psychedelic Soul or Funk (as in George Clinton) is also pretty damn good for hitting the iron.

Nothing wrong with old stuff, but I’ve heard most of it.
Led Zepplin- Ramble on
War-Lowrider
Snoop Dogg-Gin and Juice
Jefferson Airplane- white rabbit (favorite song)
The Doors- The End
Royal Gigalos- Self Control Remix
Royal Gigalos- California Dreamin

chinadoll, 311 - Amber is the song I listen to when I wanna relax, not get amped up for workouts.
DRock, if As I Lay Dying - Confined is track 2 off the CD I’m thinking of, then I totally agree with you. Thats the song I put on when I’m doing 50 rep sets of 1-leg squats.
TC,
Two suggestions:
If you like techno Paul Oakenfold - Cafe Del Mar (the version off Tranceport) is a good song, I dunno if you’ll be able to get the full effect of it off a 30-second iTunes sample though, too much of a progressive song to be able to appreciate it in that short amount of time.
Other selection:
Dodgin Bullets - Losing In Front of Your Hometown (the iTunes sample does this song justice)
These are some of the songs on my current Training Mix:
Where the Hood At - DMX
We in Here - DMX
King Back - T.I.
I’m Talkin to You - T.I.
Tear It Up - Yung Wun, featuring DMX
Get Back - Ludacris
Higher - K-os
