How many people have you labeled a conservative, but they have never actually said they are conservative?
Anyone on this forum that I use that term for will gladly state they are a conservative or correct me if I am wrong. For some strange reason, you all can throw “liberal” at anyone who disagrees with you and it doesn’t matter if they state it isn’t so?
Honestly, look at your reaction here. Simply by questioning you, you tried to label me as “defending liberals”. That makes no sense at all yet you keep doing it.
Dictionary.com
Liberal
- favorable to progress or reform, as in political or religious affairs.
- (Often initial capital letter) noting or pertaining to a political party advocating measures of progressive political reform.
- Of, pertaining to, based on, or advocating liberalism.
I think a lot of posters on this forum get so caught up in the Republican vs. Democrat Liberal vs. Conservative BS. The fact of the matter is most people are conservative on some issues and liberal on others.
For example I am conservative when it comes to my 2nd amendment right to own a gun. I think the bill of rights is enough and no other restrictions should exist. Now I am liberal when it comes to the way our political party system works. I mean a 2 party system is a joke and does not work any more. How about healthcare and immigration what we are currently doing isn’t good enough I want change. Now how can you label me either one when I clearly am a mixture of both?
I haven’t labeled you either one. If you are so against labels, then why were you telling me I was “defending liberals” when no such action had occurred?
How is that a label?
And you did defend liberals.
You said
Many of you use this term to act as if “liberalism” is evil yet where are all of these self proclaimed “liberals”?
Then I said
I never said “Liberalism” is evil…Your defending liberals pretty strongly are you perhaps one. This was exactly the response I was looking for.
You can defend “liberalism” that’s fine, but don’t act like you weren’t defending against the “angry right”
That statement is NOT defending anyone at all. It is like you only see what you want to see. Defending something would mean I am taking a stance that indicates whatever I am defending is not the way some people describe it. That is not what I did there at all so what are you talking about? I didn’t call them “innocent”. I said many conservatives act as if they are evil…which is TRUE.
Are you denying this? Conservatives even claim they are “destroying America” yet I can’t make the claim that they think they are evil without you claiming I am defending them?
Let?s see. I see what you type and what you have typed in the last few posts are what I have commented on. I didn’t make it up they are your words. I’m not sure where you got “I didn’t call them innocent” from. That was not in anything you or I typed until now. What conservatives act like they are evil…I want exact quotes…Your last statement doesn’t even make sense. I don’t know who you mean is destroying America conservative or liberals? Once again you can claim what you want, but the quote from the email I put up obviously were giving liberals and democrats a bad image and you said conservatives think Libs are evil…if that isn’t defending liberals what exactly is?
It is pretty easy to sit on that fence isn’t it? Once again you do not have to come out and say something word choice and body language(not in this instance) tell a hell of a lot. [/quote]
Are you fucking serious? You need quotes to be able to see that many conservatives are acting like “liberals” are destroying America? Go read the last 10 posts from Tiribulus in this forum and tell me you can’t see that at all.
Quotes. LOL!!!
