I for one am about sick of all of the Obama threads.
Just because: my reply to a racist on this forum, as an example (several replies on this page):

I was there. Rainjack was there. “Some people”, you’ll notice, weren’t there - and let’s face it, since “some people” weren’t there denouncing Nominal Prospect, it is safe to conclude that that silence means acceptance.
Right?

Anyone else find it ironic that an M.D. needs an explanation of how “consent” works?
He worked for the Army.
Consent means you yell at people.

Correction, Air Force and consent means “do what we told you to do”.

That’s easy - I skip over your posts.

Wait, before we go any further, you rant for two pages because I dared to imply that Republicans are rethinking the Patriot Act but you can be blatantly wrong and NOT expect to have to apologize for that one?
LOL
You’re a riot!

Judging by the drop in viewer-ship in this forum, you are not alone at all.

Good Lord - you haven’t named names, that is the entire problem. You keep suggesting that “some people” won’t show up in threads and denounce “racists” and as such they are flirting with “racism” in their own right. You can hardly contain your desire to refer to these folks as “racists” themselves.
Well, who? Me? Other conservatives? What about the other liberals on this board who didn’t show up?
You keep hinting that we are all complicit in not properly standing up to racists here - so who? Aren’t you going to name names? Enough with the cowardly anonymity - who here are the aiders and abettors to all this “racism”?
You haven’t named these names. There is nothing to apologize for - I am still waiting on this list of names out your “straight talk” file.
And, back to the original topic - who are the conservatives that changed their mind on the Patriot Act? Where are the “named names”? That was my original and only question to you, and despite loads of “straight talk”, I still haven’t gotten an answer out of you.
You aren’t full of “straight talk”, and you never have been. You tried a smug “I told you so” on the Patriot Act, claiming you were right on it all along just as now conservatives are jumping ship based on an election, and when I raised the question “how did you come that conclusion?”, we have gotten the diametrical opposite of “straight talk” - we’ve had straw men, deflections, attempts to be revisionist in your post (“um, uh, my original post was about, er, um, how no one will stand up to racism around here, um, yeah”), and your usual whining.
Again, in the thread I posted above, I don’t recall you swooping in and denouncing Nominal Prospect’s racist remarks - should I assume that you, like others who were silent in the face of his remarks, are “racist”?

You’ve been OWNED!

you just told a black man that you own him. racist much?
also to HH for the original post, those 47million are already patients, yes illegal immigrants are also already patients. how much exactly, do you not know what you’re talking about?

I find it funny that you sit and call someone out for his post count when you’re on pace to pass up most of this website.

Gee, I DID name names. Get that right before we go any further.

Of who? Headhunter and Mick28 - those you thought had “racist” comments?
Right, got it - that isn’t in dispute. That isn’t where you are pulling your precious “some people” routine.
So name names, “straight talker” - who are the “some people” that have aided and abetted racism by not showing up to confront it in these threads?
Surely you must have a pretty good idea, since you are obsessed with it - after all, what started as a comment about conservatives changing their mind on the Patriot Act immediately got turned into your therapy session about "raaaaaaaaaacism!!! in less than one post.
So who are they? A long list of conservatives, surely - who else? Liberals, too? What about you - you never showed up in that thread I posted that had Nominal Prospect spouting off?
You want to turn every single conversation here into a plaint about the racism in the forums - and you have yanked this thread into that ditch.
But since we are here, let’s uncork it all and have a good cry - you are mad that “some of us” won’t stand up to the evil that is racism here: get it off your chest. Be a man, and state your claim to the specific folks you have a problem with.
So let’s get it all out in the open, so you don’t have to sit and pout about “some people”. Your choice.
Otherwise, grow up and move on.
I know I’m not here to apologize for, or give a stern talking to, members of my race who’ve made a racist comment (if the offending comment was even racist to begin with). Then there’s guys like Nominal Prospect. What would be the point in denouncing him? He’s an unapologetic supremacist. The guy has flat out said so. So what’s the point in trying to shame him for making a racist comment? It can’t be done!

Read the link to Dick Morris, a former Clinton staffer, who has an inside scoop on all of the Washington DC power struggles. He can explain the evil of Obama.

Uhm, I mentioned those names early on as who is dragging this board down and causing people to avoid posting here any longer. You alone have now harped for PAGES about me not naming names. Now that you finally admit that I did, you still won’t admit you were wrong.
What kind of T-Men are so chickenshit that they won’t argue on an internet board? They could do like Prof X does, and ignore me…which is pretty cowardly.
Too fucking cowardly to argue on a web site, and one named T-Nation! Guess they checked their balls at the door before entering.

Who knew that “straight talk” meant cutting out the major part of my post and answering questions I am not asking in hopes no one will notice?
To repeat:
-
I am not asking who the “racist posters” are - we all know about your opinions of HH and Mick28.
-
I am asking you to “name names” of the folks that you always refer to as “some people” or the like that are complicit in the racism so prevalent by remaining silent in racist threads that demand rebuttal. Should be easy.
-
Oh, and just for kicks, on the topic that started this whole thing, before you attempted to change the subject to “racism!” (big surprise) - who are the conservatives that changed their minds on the Patriot Act on the basis of the 2008 election that you raised in your original post here. Should be easy.
This time, don’t delete nearly my entire post - let’s hear some of that vaunted (self-advertised) “speaking your mind” on the subjects I listed above.
