Help Keep Me on Track

Alright, I’m back from a short holiday and ready to get back to the diet, training, and plenty of school work for my last 3 weeks of university. Got some more EDT tomorrow. Im a bit apprehensive. That stuff is hard! But its damn good.

5 g bcaas then did some morning esw before breafast. now eating:

-.5 scoop whey
-cup plain nf yogurt
-1.75 cup pumpkin
-apple

then i have edt later, yay

Did the 2nd day of EDT for fat loss yesterday. Whew. That is no easy workout. This morning I went on a fasted jog/walk since my first class was canceled. I am going to go low carb today as I think I may switch to a low carb high carb rotation. I will make sure to keep the carbs over 50 g though mostly through veggies.

Here’s the link to the EDT I’m doing if anyone is interested. I only changed a few exercises and kept everything else the same. I will keep everyone updating on how this training is working.

I did some fasted cardio this morning and yesterday morning. since I have time tomorrow as well, I was thinking that I would do it then as well. i dont know if 3 days in a row is too much and if I should do HIIT instead later in the day. but oh well, ill do the fasted since I have more time in the morning then after school.

Today was also a low carb day. Tomorrow will be high carb and edt again. Im a bit sore today mostly from the leg presses i did in an edt pr. those were hard. Hopefully my legs will be better by tomorrow for some 5x5 squats.

I think im going to actually skip todays workout for today and put it tomorrow. I am still sore and feel a bit rundown and also have a time constraint today. I never really skip workouts so I hope this doesnt sound like an excuse.

Grrr. I went to a barbecue and planned to only eat one meat item and some veg, but I couldnt help eating beef patty, 2 salmon patties, and loads of veg, guacamole, and mango salsa. At least I cheated with pretty good food. But my waist went back up to 34 inches, and I dont even want to look at my weight. I have got to get this stuff dialed in again!

And where did everyone go!?

I think i may have been reading too much T-Nation because there seem to be sooo many people, like CT, who say that low carbing it is the way to go, at least until 10% bf. I def have the urge to go back to low carb. I want this to work tho, so I just need to keep strict.

Im still going. Back down to 30.5 in waist this morning, Went on my jog/walk pre breakfast. Then have edt later and plenty of school work as well. I have been doing low/high carb days corresponding to whether I have a work out or not. I was also thinking of going over to the AD diet for a more long term type thing. Any thoughts?

So I am switching over to the AD with a recommendation from CT. I will keep cals just below maintenance, and add in some cardio. There is a 12 day break in period with 30 carbs or less followed by a carp up day(s). Then it goes a 5/2 split no carb/carb up. I will try and keep edt going. It seems to work pretty well. Its a damn killer tho!!
