Help Keep Me on Track

By situation, i didnt mean I was pregnant or anything, just someone who is doing this type of diet. lol

It is a good idea tho. I have heard from other people on here who really liked it. i will def look into it and think about it.

lol! Oh, you better disregard all the advice i have given you then - as i thought you were a 17 year old red-headed female who was carrying triplets… whoops!

lol Yeah, it’s brown hair, that makes a big difference.

Just got back from the gym. Good workout.

10 g BCAAs+glutamine and creatine before
10x3
A1)Deadlift- 330
A2)Decline Sit-up- 60
A3)Seat calf Raise- 4x45s +25

Then I did max rep Pull-ups since I can only do 13 perfect reps (go completely down to a stretch, pause, all the way up, chin over bar, not the “pull-ups” that I see most people do. But I need to work on mine to get my vertical pull up to par.

Then,
15 min of HIIT

After:
-40 g malto
-30 g whey
-3 g creatine

Now I can relax. Sweet.

Joe, you gotta team in the Champs league final?

Oh, and I weighed in at 217 today. Think that still may be a bit of water from the carbs the other night.
That leads me to a question, you guys think a carb up every 5 days is good? And what kind of carbs should I be eating at each meal. I was thinking mostly fruit with something like yams and some real good grain bread. I know you guys say to spread them out more, so I will do that next time.

Thanks guys.

Rest of the day:

7:
-5 oz medium lean ground beef
-Broccoli

9:30
-4 oz salmon
-Cucumber
-Broccoli
-2 tbsp psyllium husk

before bed:
-2.5 servings Cottage cheese
-splenda
-5 Flameout

Macros:
cals: 2199
Fat:102
Carb:100 (23 fiber)
Protein: 225

Gnight fellas.

Yeah, whole grain, low GI is best… spread out will cause less insulin response.

I don’t have a team in the champs… but i can see you do!!

Joe

Are you losing weight then? if not… you know what to do!!

Joe

Hey man. Yeah. It seems to be working. My waist was 34.2 inches this morning. Weight was down 3 pounds yesterday (i think that was still some water). Most importantly for me. I can see some changes in the mirror, especially in the mornings. I love the mornings when I’m cutting.

But for the champs, Barca got taken out in a terrible game, stupid manchester. I just want a good game.

lol@stupid manchester!

Why do you support Barca?

My wife and I went to Barcelona the second day we met, and got matching tattoos… little Joe Joseph Trivia for you.

Joe

Yeah man. I first started supporting Barca after I went there 5 or so years ago. My favorite city in the world I think. Barca is my team no matter what, but I’d say they deserve it with some of those amazing youngsters they keep getting.

I mean, Messi, of course, is a god, and Bojan, Dos Santos? Incredible. My friends in Spain also support Barca, even tho a lot of them hate Catalonians. Ah spanish politics. I dont know about a tattoo for me yet tho, lol. So far it’s just a Messi jersey.

Hey man sorry I’ve been away from your thread for a minute but sounds like Joe is of better help than I. One thing I noticed is that your pre and post workout nutrition is spot on. Good job there.

After looking at the macros of yesterday it seems that you are on the right track and making progress.

Good job man keep it up and keep using this thread as a log.

Gerdy

*****note to add that JOE has matching tats with his wife for future JOE TRIVIA :stuck_out_tongue: lol jk JOE!

lol! Yeah, my wife speaks fluent spanish, and she has a grip with a calatonian “tongue” (no jokes please!)

Gerdy, write that one down, i’ll be asking questions later…

Joe

I went out today and bought a seperate notebook just for you :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: lol jk

Gerdy

Down 5 lbs in a week according to the scale today that tied with an inch and a half off the waist is not bad. Probably a lot of it is water due to lower carbs, but hey, still not bad. Don’t feel weak in the gym or anything either. Cooooool.

Good Job man!

DG

Good to see you back, too Gerdy.

Heres the food for the day

Breakfast:
-4 O3 eggs
-1 scoop whey
-Broccoli

Lunch:
-7 oz chicken thigh meat
-Lettuce
-Half serving of Italian Dressing

3.30:
-2 salmon patties, low fat
-broccoli
-1 oz cheddar

6.30:
-7 oz shrimp
-broccoli
-1 tbsp coconut oil

What’s planned

9.00
-5 oz chicken thigh meat
-lettuce
-1 tbsp Low cal ranch from Trader Joe’s (looks like healthy stuff)

Before bed:

  • 1.25 cup of cottage cheese
    -splenda
    -5 Flameout

I also did some HIIT on a stationary bike (“400” cals)
-10 g BCAAs before

Then I donated some plasma today and took 10 g BCAAs after that. I’m hoping donating won’t get in the way. Did some research on forums and couldn’t really find anything wrong with it and the money will help pay for my flight to England.

Macros:
cals:2225
Fat: 103
Carbs: 40
Protein: 273

The donation is fine as long as you did it after your workout lol. I could imagine doing it pre workout wouldn’t feel too hot…lol

Gerdy

Yeah. I am scheduling them for off days. I tried wprking out a few hours after once. It was baad. Just had no energy. Hoping it’ll be better this way. Not bad money for lying around reading.
