You’re right. That was too kind of me to let them see something like that and then live to tell about it.

Sunday-11-21-10- Dynam… I mean Max… I mean I just lifted weights today. (5)
So, I did about 50 million cleans and snatches this weekend and got my USAW. What that means is, I am a level 1 sports performance caoch through USA Weightlifting. Which is awesome. I learned some good stuff… like how to really do a power clean and that there is no such thing as a hang clean. I just keep gathering more and more information that makes me more and more pissed off about the way people do things. Anyway, My hands and shoulders and hamstrings and traps are beat to shit. But, I did this anyway:
Squats- 1inch above parallel- 2xblues
240x5x2
275x1
315x1<~~~ still fast
DL’s- Quaded light bands… this is my new favorite exercise because this is the most awful exercise I have ever done.
135x2x1
225x2x1
250x2x1
275x1
300x1<~~~~~~ fast until my sticking point. I was very happy I finished this lift because I guess the band tension at the top around 600lbs.
The end. Didnt really care to do anything else and I feel fantastic so I dont want to ruin that.
Once I graduate, I get to sign emails with:
Mike Hedlesky MS., CSCS., USAW.
Now… all thats left is to get a real job.
“there is no such thing as a hang clean”
say what??? I’m confused.

No there isnt, the way Americans (that arent olympic weightlifters) do hang cleans is not correct. A hang clean is actually any of these:
Power Clean From Power Position (mid Thigh)
Power Clean From Above the Knee
Power Clean From Below the Knee
Power Clean From the Floor
Then all of those can be done with a Full Squat Clean.
A “Power” Clean is when the bar is caught above parallel. A Clean is recieved in the bottom of a front squat.
Don’t feel bad, I was confused as hell too. haha.

Shut it down before I killed myself. Keeping my back tight on squats has been a big problem ever since I messed it up a couple years ago. This needs to stop being an excuse and I need to work harder to fix it.
For some reason, it hasnt let me post on here for a few days… which is fine because my workouts have been retardedly bad. Today went great though:

Not sure if you take questions, but what does a normal day of eating look like for you?
Which P90X DVD says to deadlift 800+ pounds, I think they forgot to send me that one.
BTW, what is a Dizenzo row?

Sure man, ask away. I eat a shitload of food. I am actually just coming off a diet where I went from 280 to 229 in 15 weeks. So, my diet consists of anything and everything right now. I do have a basic structure to what I can and cant eat though. For example:
-At least 6 meals… like real meals
-Each meal has to have at least 65g of protein
-Limit gluten and dairy to as little as possible… unless its a cheeseburger.
-Eat at least 14g of good fat with each meal
-Eat vegatables with every meal
That’s about it for now. I’m going to go back on a much more strict diet once my training phases switch so that I can lose some weight before my next meet… or I might just say F it and weigh 300lbs.
Let me know if you have any more questions!

It’s at the end of the AB Ripper X DVD. After the credits, the P90x guy, Tony Little, and John Basedow all have a three way then kill themselves. So, thats the general template I am following.
Dizenzo Row- Sit in a lat pull down, grab the bar, lean back really really far, and pull the bar to the bottom of your sternum. I dont have a lat pull down so I used a green band in each hand and sat on a bench. I love these because they murder your lats if you do them right.
Monday-11-29-10- RE (1)
Pull Throughs- Purplex5mins<~~~ actually held on the whole time

One Leg Forward Ab Pull Downs- Blue+Greenx4x10(each Leg)
Stretched a whole lot…
Entire workout took 15mins.

Curls are the true and only test of strength… a video like that would have pissed me off to no end.
