Start to finish without interruption? Wrath 100%. That’s been one of my go-to’s if I know I won’t be interrupted for a full 40-minutes.

I’ve also got a very soft spot for New American Gospel because it’s so grimy. Probably my #2 start to finish favorite.

In terms of songs, my favorites are on other albums. “Descending,” “Desolation,” and “Remorse is for the Dead” are probably top three.

I’ve also got two Lamb of God t-shirts … never been to a show though …

It’s been working so well I’m afraid that I’m going to wear out the magic! I’d been listening to some bootleg live versions of Invincible and Descending on YouTube for months. Nice to finally get the full album.

Is there more to it?

I just go to their official channel, cue up that album and go.

Have you listened to their albums under “burn the priest”. They do an awesome cover of Melvin’s “honey bucket”

Bloodletting is also a decent song

No, no we are at least two  Had totally forgotten about that, it must have been what? 20-30 years since I read that. Think I borrowed it from my brother.

I’m listening to them via a YouTube playlist that’s got all of the digital content (including the instrumentals).

I’ll definitely check those out. Thanks!

Just turned on to this Swedish band. Reminds me of type o negative. I just keep listening to it over and over

Trivium has a really good cover of type o negatives “I don’t wanna be me”

Seriously underrated band. Their guitar work and combo of being melodic and heavy at the same time is impressive. Matt’s voice is an acquired taste but it fits their music. My guilty pleasure there is “The Anthem” just because it’s like 80’s thrash done by a modern band.

Trivium is a band that, while I don’t really listen to anymore, I have such fond, vivid memories of driving around Duluth, MN in 2005 with the Ascendancy album cranked.

@unreal24278 was saying something about Nightmare on Elm Street yesterday. Just recalled this:

Anything with Freddy Krueger rapping in it is MEtAL.

Yeah! Love this one for the classic Team Burton footage (snowboarding).

Beastie boys before they became famous

They were initially part of the New York hardcore punk scene.
