Yesssssss
Do you know pro-pain?

HAH! Good luck, itāll take a while to be able to play metal on drums⦠Or any instrument for that matterā¦
Metal in general is one of the easiest genres to play, actually. I started learning the guitar with the Kill 'Em All album. I was using a $20 classical guitar.
Actually 4-chord generic pop songs are the easiest to play
This stuff isnāt easy to play (the solos in particular)
Something like this
Is generally gonna take 6 months of REALLY consistent practicing to be able to play if youāre starting from scratch
The solo in the first song is āhardā because youād have to be good at alternate picking. The Trooper is pretty easy.
Obviously Iām not saying a beginner can learn these in 6 months. Theyāre not Kirk Hammettās solos lol.
This is hard:
Depends.
Iām gonna clarify that I donāt think metal is easy, just that itās relatively easy compared to other genres that require at least an average level of skill on the guitar unless someone like Marty Friedman is in the band. Also, just because a song isnāt technically complex doesnāt mean it isnāt good.
Iāve always thought the hardest guitar style to play was jazz. That stuff is crazy.
Too complex for me to grasp.
Pete Sandoval
Tim Yeung
John Dette
The almighty Lombardo
A lot of metal is far from easy
Yes⦠Not a big fan though
Relatively easy. Of course, there are really technically accomplished musicians out there in every genre. Thatās not counting the crazy subgenres like āmath metalā lol. The songs by the more popular bands, however, sound a lot harder than they really are.
Which doesnāt mean theyāre bad. Far from it. Iām just talking about the technical stuff.
Thanks for this. I listened to these guys during my workout yesterday. Hard and Heavy.
I like this one better than Writing on the Wall (not to say I didnāt like WotW - I did)
2 weeks bud ⦠lookinā forward to their next world tour too ⦠gonna be lit man
