Heading to Endo Soon - 22 YO

so a week off SERM and i’m feeling pretty good

i definitely feel better in terms of energy and my temperature is finally hitting normal ranges, like 98 degrees

libido is still eh, but idk. i don’t remember if i was always crazy wired for libido, and seeing as me and my gf broke up in July, i’m not sure if it’s just cause i haven’t been around women (the real test will be new years i guess lol) or if it’s all mental, which i know mentally you can screw yourself

erection quality is much better, morning wood essentially every morning, so i think i’m good. only one way to know is bloods and i’ll be getting them the first week of January and then see the Dr on the 21st

Sounds positive!

Seeing my endo tomoz, want to try clomid restart then if no good run hcg mono for a bit then look into Trt/hcg mono options… Want to preserve fertility as long as possible as got the all clear today that I’m
Still firtile on current t levels…

How long u running serm for and to what end? Long term? Restart?

i’m done running it. ran it for 5 weeks, if my levels are still low, i’d guess an attempt at an HcG restart, or TRT

bloodwork scheduled for the 30th

KSMan do you recommend making sure i take a day or two off from the gym prior to going in the morning?

blood work on Tuesday. feeling good and will be taking completely off from the gym on Monday. My strength is starting to rapidly climb too, I hit a 315 lb squat for a PR at a BW fo 151. So things are looking up!

Are you on TRT or off everything?

off everything, this restart was an attempt to avoid TRT. feeling great though, i’m excited to see the results

Sounds interesting! keep me updated when the results due? iv got my TRT prescription but havnt started yet as waiting for sperm storage… Still unsure as my LH/FSH are low pointing at the pituitary but my pituitary gland is pushing out other hormones fine, which my endo said could be overtraining but still… not sure what im going to do yet…

So I got my bloods back. Improvement, but still have a aways to go. KSMan I’d appreciate you chiming in what you recommend I do or say when I see my endo on the 21st, (Range in Parenthesis)

Sept 4th Results:

FSH 2.8 (1.6 - 8.0)
LH 1.8 (1.5 - 9.3)
Prolactin 9.3 (2.0 - 18.0)
Estradiol <15 (< or 39)
Total Test 200 (250 - 1100)
Free T 40.4 (35 - 155)
SHBG 25 (10 - 50)

Thyroid:
T3 Free 2.2 (2.3 - 4.2)
T4 Free 1.2 (.8 - 1.8)
TSH 3.53 (.40 - 4.50)

12.30.14

TSH 1.19 (.4 - 4.50)
T4 Free 1.3 (.8-1.8)
T3 Free 2.6 (2.3 - 4.2)

LH 2.2 (1.5 - 9.3)
FSH 2.0 (1.6 - 8.0)
Prolactin 7.3 (2.0 - 18.0)
E2 32 (< or = 39)
Total T 358 (250 - 1100)
Free T 49.4 (35-155)
SHBG 33 (10-50)

Everything is in “normal” range, but my concern is that it’s not optimal

Last labs:
E2=32 is too high, if you lower it to lower 20’s, TT, FT, E2 and SHBG should improve. But you will still have mid range T at best.

How are you feeling re energy, mood and initiative. Are you seeking or avoiding social involvement?

fT3 is way below mid range, so temps will still be low. TSH improved. Iodine intake?
fT4 is good.

Ferritin needs to be good for T4–>T3 conversion.

No need to be repeating prolactin.

You can search and find things like: http://www.womensinternational.com/thyroid.html

Are you getting selenium in your vitamins?
Other trace elements?

just ordered selenium, iodine intake has been just through iodized salt in each of my meals.

i figured e2 was too high, i started with a low dose OTC AI for a few weeks.

energy wise i feel good, i definitely have more energy and feel better. morning wood every morning. as for social life, i’m still not constantly seeking it, but i have gone out more with my friends than i have in the previous months

mood is light years better. was a miserable dick admittingly to my parents, now i’m more even keeled.

when i go to the endo, should i ask for anything specifically? I want to avoid TRT if this can be fixed. i’m not sure if i do need more time, or we’re at the point of no return

i’m also contemplating asking for a different thyroid medicine other than synthroid. it seems like t4 → t3 conversion is what sucks so maybe armour thyroid or low dose t3 could help drastically

what dose of selenium would you recommend via supplementation KSMan?

Whatever is in a good multi-vit that also lists selenium and iodine.
