Headaches from Gelcaps?

I recently posted in the thread “Vitamin D: How much is too much?” about how after taking a Vitamin D3 gelcap (1,000 i.u.), I got a headache about 1-2 hrs later. Tried this on two separate occasions, months apart. Headaches both times. I searched online re: low doses of vit D and headaches. Nada. I then remember that I take Salmon Oil gelcaps from same company. So I look closer.

The “other ingredients” listed for Salmon Oil gelcaps by Nature’s Bounty are:
-gelatin
-vegetable glycerin

The “other ingredients” listed for Vitamin D3 gelcaps (1,000 i.u.) by Nature’s Bounty are:

-soybean oil

So, then I look into soybean oil and, lo and behold, find a slew of info about how this stuff triggers allergies and migraines in a good number of people. Up until now, i’ve never had allergies or anything that caused headaches as quickly as with the Vit D3 gelcaps. I now take a tablet form of Vit D3 and have no problems whatsoever. Has anyone else had this reaction to soybean oil or hydrogenated / partially hydrogenated oils ???
