The poster above who mentioned Obama’s victim complex hit the nail on the head. Whining about the problems of the previous president is idiotic. Obama put a great deal of time, effort and money into becoming the president. He CHOSE to do so. He knew exactly what he was getting in for.
And he knew that other problems might arise, but as president its his job to deal with them. In Bush’s first year of presidency muslims destroyed the twin towers. Nobody saw that coming. Bush made a decision and took action (right or wrong - he did something).
Now Obama has an economic crisis on his hands. It is a bit unexpected but he took the top job and he has to deal with unexpected contingencies. Thats part of being the president.
So he ought to quit whining, playing the victim etc and get on with the job he CHOSE to run for.

Honestly when was the last time we actually had an Alpha Male as president? All the guys at the top have handlers/special interest groups that tell them what to do. Bush had Cheny. Clinton had Hilary.
The last Alpha Male was Reagan.
Really? Why not Clinton? He got blow jobs in the white house, started a war, and single handedly recaptured two u.s. journalists trapped in North Korea. That’s absolutely Alpha.
In my opinion Obama is a fine leader so far as well. He has more on his plate than any president in the past 60 years with health care reform, two wars, the biggest economic crisis since the great depression, ominous foreign relations in Iran and Korea, environmental issues which have only recently become a part of politics, and a growing rift in politics between the D’s and R’s. It’s miraculous he has such a high approval rating which is usually above 50%.
I’m pretty sure Reagan had it worse coming in…13% unemployment, American hostages being held by Iran, soaring inflation…and he never made excuses or threw the previous administration under the bus for any of his struggles.
Just keep letting them spend and spend and spend some more! All nails in their own coffin. Do you think the Democrats will maintain their stranglehold on the legislature after the mid term elections after passing this failed stimulus package? Obama and the House and Senate Dems are doing to the Democratic party in 1 year what Bush took 8 to do to the Republican party.
That is, totally ruin any reputation they have when given the reigns. It all goes in cycles, and in 3 years, Bush will be out of sight and out of mind- and the Democrats will be the scape goats- ousted by the angry rabble that is the American electorate- torches and pitchforks in hand as they storm the voting booths.
So I really am enjoying this as a political scientist. I can’t wait to see the apologists come out of the woodwork to spin the multi trillion dollar deficit come time for the next presidential election. And I hear he wants to pass ANOTHER stimulus bill. Anyone who votes yes on that, I believe would be signing their own resignation letter.
