I’m 64 years old and I’ve been on testosterone therapy since 2012 no complaints but I was just curious I’m not going to have any more children in fact I’ve had a vasectomy I hear of some guys we’re on testosterone therapy in the same situation that I’m in I take the HCG so I guess my question is is it really necessary I don’t need it for any kind of fertility those days
of come and gone.
Thanks
David
It doesn’t seem to be necessary for most guys, particularly if they’re not worries about fertility.
Some guys seem to feel better on it, some hate it. The general recommendation is to dial in your test in isolation then try the HCG if you want to.
I think if you try hcg and don’t lower your test dosage so your total test levels go up on the HCG stop the HCG and bump up your test dosage a bit to get the same levels of test and see if you feel the same. I suspect people that add hcg and feel better didn’t really have their test dose dialed in.
I’ve never taken it though so this is just an educated guess.
The only reason I can think of is if you get prostate issues in later life, you will probably have to stop taking testosterone so if you have been on HCG, you may recover easier.
