HCG Mono vs T+ HCG

I’m currently on HCG monotherapy. Results have been pretty good…went from 350 total T to 690 and E2 is within range. LH and FSH at zero though but told this is normal.

The cost factor is starting to become realized as I already spent 300 on HCG and that’s just two months worth, and now need to buy again. Also, it would be kind of cool to have my T levels optimum, like 900+, if I’m going through all of this maintenance.

I’m wondering, what am I looking at if I were to switch to an HCG+T regimen? Keeping my nut (only have one) nice and active and loads full is a big priority. I was on T alone for about a month and my libido dropped and nut shrank to a pea. Could I get away with a lower dose of HCG while on T and still keep the testicle healthy and body not shut down? Or would I need to continue taking same amount? Current regimen on HCG:

500IUs M/W/F

Yes. You could cut it in half.

Thanks. Any other considerations to keep in mind if I make the switch?

I don’t think so. Test your levels after six weeks.

Great. I suppose I’ll start with going back to my SubQ 100mg T once a week along with 250IU HCG 3 days a week. Hopefully libido and testicle stays strong (and bloating finally goes away).

Weird, doctor just emailed me saying he heavily advises against T+HCG saying that regardless of doing HCG alongside it and slightly helping with fertility, that any amount of T will still shut me down and I would have to do more than 3000 IUs of HCG a week to keep testicle somewhat functional which he said could lead to side effects of its own.

God I hate not getting straight answers for anything on this…

Your HPTA will be shut down on TRT, but if you do a low dose HCG, it will keep the testicles alive and kicking producing a little testosterone and estrogen.

Your doctor is not very well informed, his stopped learning years ago and is becoming irrelevant as a tyrannosaurus rex. He probably doesn’t want the insurance company breathing down his neck wondering why he is raking up the medical bills.

Doctors can get in trouble for excess prescriptions and excess lab testing. If you were paying 100% out of pocket your doctor wouldn’t give a f*ck about using HCG while on TRT. In fact this is what a lot of the anti-aging clinics are doing, selling TRT, HCG, anastrozole and anything else you want.

hCG therapy can help preserve spermatogenesis in men undergoing TRT by maintaining intratesticular testosterone levels.

So you think I’ll be safe adding T and reducing my HCG to 250IUs 3x a week (currently 500IUs 3x week)? Will keep the libido and testicle in check? As mentioned, T alone made it into a peanut and killed my libido. Just want to make sure that doesn’t happen again.

Men have been doing it for ages, the owner and founder of excelmale has been on TRT longer than most and is on HCG. After decades on TRT his libido was suddenly dead and HCG brought his libido back from the dead.

HCG will protect you from the other hormonal decline do to LH suppression, you have the advantage responding well to HCG.

For some men HCG kills libido, then again some men don’t respond well to HCG monotherapy, but since you are doing well on HCG monotherapy, I think it will be a nice addition and provide great benefit.

HCG supports the adrenal glands, maybe this is why you do so well on it.

Thanks. Yeah even the doctor was surprised my dose raised my levels so much. He was expecting to raise my IUs from 1500 per week to 2500 but said it’s not needed since my T is in high 6’s/low 7’s. Also libido so much better than normal OR on T alone.

If it wasn’t for the weird bloating/paleness and associated cost with doing a high dose, I’d probably stay on it alone. That and the risk of “destroying” LH receptors…

If you can get the same effect for a lower cost, more power to you because money don’t grow on trees. TRT and HCG might even be more effective as HCG doesn’t always activate all hormonal pathways. Actually HCG stimulates half of the testicles.

Well I’ll give it a go and check back in.

Xylosted- 100 mg Test SubQ weekly
HCG- 250 IUs M/W/F

I would split up the testosterone 2x weekly if I were you.

What I know from Defy Medical is HCG alone works very differently from HCG with TRT.

HCG alone shuts down pituitary, but this is all I understood about the difference

Your doctor sounds rather misinformed on the HCG topic. I’m doing 250 IU’s 2x a week to keep the balls going. It isn’t a ton but Defy thinks it will be enough. It’s not like you’re in the middle of having fertility issues and want all the HCG your body can use or something.

The studies say 3 x 500UI HCG with TRT can even increase fertility COMPARED TO PRE TRT and 3 x 250 UI can keep 80-90 percent of it

Yeah, I preferably would like to lower the dose to 250IU, as 500 gives me bloating and random skin paleness. If i keep the dose the same AND add T, these problems would almost certainly get worse. Hopefully 250IU + 100mg of T gives me the right mix of my own Testosterone and androgynous.

Another option to go with the HCG is 100UI daily

Yeah…trying to avoid the need to literally inject every single day if I can…

Quick update here I thought I’d mention. Did first injection of T on Thursday followed by 250IU on Fri. All of today (Sunday) testicle has been aching BAD. Could be a coincidence but thought worth mentioning.
