Have You Ever Beta Orbited a Girl

I actually know plenty of women drivers. My wife is just very aggressive and only has 2 speeds. Hard breaking & flooring it.

It used to feel like I was driving with Spongebob. But it’s literally been 5+ years since I’ve let her drive me somewhere, so tbh I have no idea if she’s improved. I know there’s always tire marks in my grass along the driveway though… (with a backup camera…)

The guy who doesn’t really care for you in me snickered briefly at this.

The troll in me said zingggggggg.

Rude, considering the audience, but can’t deny I laughed.

At least it’s much better at entry level now than in 07.

Will it still be the case in 2 years? Please say yes. I threw all my eggs into one basket, a volatile one.

I think you overestimate the amount of effort it takes me to type a sentence.

just lol.

Thanks.

I’ve not heard of The Bell Curve before this but I’ll probably pick it up soon.

My point was that things like race, culture, etc are pretty complex, and understanding the dynamics when it comes to upbringing and even gender roles makes it all even more complex. Women keeping their hair long in a 2nd world country as “proof” of them knowing their traditional roles is a breathtakingly stupid thing to say lol.

Oh god dude don’t trust what I say about that. Don’t trust anyone. The US economy is so peaked right now that any big drop would look obvious in hindsight.

and said eggs breaking means you’re back to entry level? are you losing a certification?

@pfury

I just put so much time and effort into this working out that if it doesn’t, I’m chucking it all in the trash and starting over in something else while I’m still young.

What’s funny? Money isn’t everything to me, I took a shot at something, if it doesn’t work out oh well. Shouldn’t this be a thing an American like yourself would appreciate? going for broke?

And you overestimate how much I give a fuck about you giving a fuck.

Oh man, the aloofness standoff! A true trope of the net.

The pedals are not potentiometers… they are diodes lmao.

As someone non-mechanically inclined, I once taught operating a manual transmission in the following manner.

Inside your transmission is a gnome. His job is to shift the gears. You have 2 peddles. 1 gives the gnome whiskey, the other is attached to a boot that kicks him in the butt.

You have to keep the gnome drunk enough that he is happy to work but kicked in the butt enough that he stays on task. If you get him too drunk or too angry, you stall out.

My first jalopy car from the 70s had a mattress spring in place of a clutch return spring. I was trying to teach my girlfriend how to drive it and warned her and she goes to gently release the clutch… that little 250ci straight six made the entire car hop forward.

As someone who drives manual transmission, this analogy confuses me.

Yeah, I was confused, too, but figured it was a man thing. Is the clutch the whiskey? But…when I drink whiskey, which is admittedly almost never, it’s not a pause/shift thing for me. Maybe I’ll have some later, see what happens to my gnome.

I get that, but let me point out that you would never have said it. I could, for instance, offer that GB sure is interested in “poking the bum-bum,” as it were, and suggest that here is a second reference to a man taking it in the ass, then speculate that he wishes he were getting plowed by a big, strong man like the guys posting here at TN, since he’s obviously not here because he’s interested in lifting.

But I don’t, because, you know, decorum.

Not sure why I make this guy so angry. Usually I’m pretty good with boys. @greenboy, why you so angry in my direction? Or are your social skills really that limited?

I think he overestimates the amount of effort most things take.

I would be curious about the availability of haircuts. I mean, how likely is a layered bob when you’re using the kitchen scissors? This isn’t feminine?

This isn’t sexy?

Not sure you’d want your mom or bestie to attempt either of these. I’d go long, too.

@dagill2 and @EmilyQ Sounds like you two are just recklessly driving down the road with drunk angry gnomes. Be responsible!

You have to consider your audience. Someone who blames women for the degradation of society is going to get a lot more anger about being told by the living embodiment that what he’s saying is wrong.

The guy has a few threads about doing cycles yet poked at flip for doing cycles. You can bet your bottom dollar he’s very interested in poking the bum bum.

Lol when I was a kid, my dad would literally put a bowl over my head, shave the sides and back, then trim the fringe. That was it. For young girls, it was a lot easier. Just use a pair of scissors and trim the back. But, for women, there were cheap hair salons even in the 3rd world in Asia.

Housewives had permed, shoulder length hair where I lived. Teenage schoolgirls and older teens had bob cuts. Bob cuts were for the homely, innocent girls looking to get married young. Working girls in the factories just left their hair long and tied it back because they couldn’t be bothered to style or cut it.

Girls with long, flowing hair were the rebellious girls going out with the biker dudes. I knew a quite a few and I did have a bike lol. Or prostitutes. Sometimes there were a couple of Vietnamese ones who looked so tiny with their waist length hair they were often mistaken for 12 year olds.

The point is there are different fashion trends in different countries. It’s that simple. I know Indians and Asians mixed with Portuguese generally like keeping long hair. Chinese people favored the long hair look… before the Last Emperor abdicated the throne. My wife was from China. She had a 90s Jessica Lange cropped cut hairstyle when I met her in the early 2000s. Nowadays she has long shoulder length hair. She’s the kind of wife who will insist on combing your hair and fixing your tie for you in the morning and spends the entire day cooking herbal soup. When you come home in the evening and want to do something to relax, her idea of fun is going to visit your parents with the fucking soup lol.

I wrote and canceled two posts in response to this earlier, because seriously, decorum. However, let it be known that it is only decorum that restrains me, not a lack of nasty, insulting thoughts. : )

I seriously wish I could meet your entire family or just be a fly on the wall. Can you make a video? (Pics!)

I probably will when I retire or am at least semi-retired lol. Because of where I live, vocation and current family links(I think I brought the last one up with @BrickHead a couple of years ago), I’m not comfortable posting anything that can lead to identification because of the type of laws we have here. This is another thing that people who whine about the West do not take into consideration. You have to watch what you say or write even on certain mundane subjects that are normally taken for granted.

Definitely not angry at you. Not angry at anyone, really. The thread will have its moments.

And god no that second look is not sexy. I get it, you’re old, but that type of hair went out a long time ago, you know that. The last time something like that looked good was… the 80s? I’d say it never looked good.

But then again, nice example, you could shave the head off a model and she’d still look sexier than most women you’d ever see in person. Surprised you didn’t show us another celebrity.

To just bring this topic back to life real quick - someone in here said people paid to look pretty have shorter hair…

I took a look at some group photos from miss universe, and miss fitness America (I’m not even sure what that one is but ok) and most of the girls have hair beyond the shoulders, I’d say mid back is the most common. I’d go drag some pics in but I’m lazy. Sorry.

@pfury

I didn’t come at flip for doing anything. I don’t care what he does, but I don’t like the chest beating, lecturing others nonsense when we all know what really made someone was the exogenous use.

I’ve been around guys like that, I went to high school with people like that. Nonathletic little nerds that suddenly discovered the juice. Next thing you know BAM “it’s hard work and eating right yo”

Oh please.
