True story. If you like that one, try Adrians “solo” stuff with psycho motel. Especially the second album, whose name escapes me right now. Good stuff, but much less metal.

It’s super hard to pick a top Maiden album, but I’d probably go Rock in Rio (assuming we’re allowed to pick non-studio albums) as it’s the first one I heard and it was probably one of the few albums I could genuinely call life-changing.

I doubt it will pick up with the same vigor it once had.
I’m thinking there’s going to be one of two things that will happen:
- GB will come back and try to resume the “conversation” but it’ll be a little less confrontational. In reality since the conversation has been over for hundreds of posts and it’s just been a circular verbal diarrhea flame fest, this thread will finally die out.
- GB will not handle his suspension well, and pitch a fit worthy of this thread, and we will see him gone for a longer period of time. The thread will probably die out shortly after that.
In all honesty, despite GB having some pretty lame ideas and being kind of a prick, he was a pretty entertaining dude and I’d prefer he stick around than getting hit with the ban hammer. This thread almost certainly reached it’s apex a while back though. We should just let it drift off into the darkness.
If dude would just tone down the hyperbole a bit he’d be fine. The side bar on nursing is a perfect example. If you think women have it easier, in terms of finding a solid profession, that’s fine. That’s your opinion and we can discuss the merits of that opinion (I think it’s short sighted for about a dozen reasons, but that’s neither here nor there), but don’t act like “women” are walking across the stage to get their bachelors degree and they’re making $80K. That’s just preposterous.
As far as the insults go, have at it. I couldn’t care less if you insult me. I certainly insult people when they say dumb things, but it’s cowardly as fuck to insult a person that will never see/hear the insult and will never have the opportunity to defend themselves. Ironically, that’s something women tend to do much more so than men, generally.

Probably the best live album ever recorded in my opinion. It’s the only DVD I still own and probably gets a yearly watch.

Different subject, but: I had an awesome weekend fishing down in Maryland. I remembered you asking about where one would go/begin with something like that. I’d highly recommend the Thurmont area. Absolutely Beautiful.

Thurmont? I’ll have to check it out. I’m still “getting into” fishing, lol. I think I went about 3 times last year. I’m trying to get into hunting too.
Yeah. Not sure how far or if that’s feasible, but Wow! amazing mountains, wildlife, and streams.
I’ve never been much for hunting. I can track and stalk animals pretty well just from being out in the woods a good bit, but there are too many rules with hunting.
It’s not too far. It looks like there’s a state park out that way I can take the boys to.
Ya, hunting in MD is a pain in the ass… I’d like to get into it, but idk.

same in MA … my wife’s cousin just got his hunting license and tags for some turkeys … he’s been trying to get me to go out with him but I really don’t have the time … plus apparently you can’t use a rifle in MA … blew my mind when he told me
