Have You Ever Beta Orbited a Girl

I can’t help but picturing him like the guy in the “ackchyually” meme

On one hand you think most women are entitled princesses. On the other hand you think most women are driven to have careers like men, they’re doing that, and it’s destroying said princesses by their mid 30s.

Whatever your message is, it’s so convoluted I don’t think a single poster in here has a clue what you actually think about any of the issues discussed. I don’t think you know what the hell you think about any of the issues being discussed.

Literally, no one has said anything remotely close to this here or in the other thread where you’re giving poor advice.

In the locker rooms I was in you kept your head down and mouth shut or the coach would literally kick the shit out of you the next day.

And it was a wrestling locker room, so if anybody was going off about titties, asses, and how hot who ever was- in a room full of naked adolescent boys, well, there’s a problem.

We did have mat maids though. They’d bring us oranges after weigh in.

No you’re not. I benched 335 naturally, squatted 400+, deadlifted 500+. I’ve seen your comments related to lifting. You can’t touch those numbers. You probably just THINK you have more muscle because you’re 20%+ bodyfat and you don’t actually know what you’ll look like when the fat is gone.

I went a long time in this thread without addressing your comments about my gym achievements, but this is getting stupid.

And by the way, as others have mentioned, you were DEFINITELY referring to my current physique anyway. Which is laughable.

I got 485 for a set of 13 or 14 on 2" thick axle bar at a recent competition. But 315 for 10 is good too! Keep on trucking, I believe in you! Obviously my strength is all steroids though. Better hop on soon, you’ll be lifting like me in no time!

Last point for now. The whole ‘valuing sex over everything else’ topic. As it turns out, you can value a whole lot of things over sex/appearances, and still have a lot of sex. Crazy, huh? I shared earlier what my values are. A handful of things that I look for way before sex. And I’m having sex aroun 10x per week, at least once a day.

A few things about my girlfriend: she has a masters degree, and several certifications relevant to her job. She makes 6 figures. She’s gorgeous, was actually featured in an article in last month’s Shape magazine. She’s strong as hell. She doesn’t cook for me every night (We split the cooking pretty evenly). We both clean. We both do laundry. We both take care of my son. We go out on awesome dates regularly. And I’m in EXACTLY the type of relationship I’ve always wanted to be in. That balance is unbelievably fulfilling. I cannot imagine trading this for ‘a Latin girl with a fat ass’ who cooks a lot.

But hey, you do you.

Ugghh yeah… lots of things to think about in the future. Sigh…

I lol’d @ the “when” … more likely “if”, when implies he’s actually going to follow through … doubtful

Bud, we done past stupid, we’ve gone plaid

This dude seems to be operating on a black and white spectrum, you either value sex or you don’t. Sex is important in my relationship, but I valued other qualities of my wife either just as much or more than sex, but that’s not to say sex didn’t play a factor, same with her looks. I think I stopped putting so much weight on just sex when I was like 17 … and my sex life was immensely better off for it. But that type of nuance goes over his dumb dumb head so…

You’re sooooo emasculated, what a cuck

This is actually one of your posts I sympathize with, one of those in which you seem lucid. How do you go from such posts to the fiery ones so quickly? :flushed:

In an exchange with me, when I mentioned my wife and I serve food to my kid, you said your mom never served you a meal as a kid. It was a springboard to me saying that the relationship you expect from a spouse is the one I would expect between a mother and son.

Point out which ones you are referring to. Where are these crazy posts I make?

@flipcollar

Calm down He-Man Master of the Universe. I was never a strength athlete nor do I care for it. It’s cool that you enjoy it and I never questioned it.

Weird comment though to talk about body fat and strength, aren’t most strength athletes fat? Aren’t most bodybuilders not as strong as strength athletes?

As a guy post ACL reconstruction missing 20% of a meniscus along with post labrum tear in the shoulder with 6 dislocations, let me say you can definitely still do these movements if they are a goal. Just have to train right for it.

Oh I’m sure. I just don’t care for PRs. I want to look good with a shirt on most of the time, not look fat without one, and continue to enjoy a social life without being too strict with drinking or dieting.

As I get older that’s becoming harder to do, so I did think about running a cycle or two to see how I respond. Experiment, see what I can achieve but I’m having my doubts about it.

We can’t all be flips… why did he bring up his gf? I found that weird.

Yes, they are becoming entitled in many ways. My message could come off convoluted, I can see that as well. Talking about these complex issues is difficult but I try. I try to understand what I see happening, and come up with reasons. I could be wrong, I never said I’m absolutely correct on any of this.

People simply get mad lol I dunno, but it’s funny. We have fun yeh?

This is where we differ. I don’t see that, I see the message as being “You have the right to be a career driven woman if you choose to.” That wasn’t always the case. The options for women were so limited back in the day. I don’t see them having more options work wise and partner wise as a bad thing.

I thought you wanted to cut and do a cycle? Get your story straight dummy.

You saying someone else’s posts are weird … you’re a fucking hoot man.

Stop presenting your opinion as if it’s all there is … that seems to be the main criticism of your posts.

I personally have a stick so far up my ass, I can taste leaves

I almost lol’d

Negative. In a weightclass based sport, being fat is a disadvantage. And with the majority of weightclasses in strength sports being below 242lbs, most athletes tend to not be fat. You only tend to see fat strength athletes in the upper weightclasses.

At least, assuming we are talking about good strength athletes.

Me neither. But this is about training, not PRs.
