33 y/o
my prescribed TRT protocol.
240 mg test c 1x week
.5cc HCG
And .5mg anastrozzle
It’s taken about a year but my libido is back to shit and I’m starting to get Gyno signs. The TRT doctor confirmed its Gyno and took my blood to test. None of the doctors think estradiol effect libido.
Would you take HCG if you weren’t concerned about fertility? I started HCG two months into TRT, and the first week I had the libido of a teenager, but it died off after that.
Sorry for my ranting but I needed to create an account to voice my frustrations with people that know what I’m talking about.
Nope. I’ve been on TRT for over 10 years and never taken HCG. My balls still hang low. They may be smaller but I’ve actually never tried to compare them to pre-TRT. Anyway, my wife prefers hard erections way more than big balls.
Post your bloodwork.

That’s a terrible cookie cutter weekly protocol that benefits the T-mill more than you. Injecting one huge dosage of testosterone is ripe for estrogen conversion and is a sloppy way of doing TRT.
Your SHBG will dictate injection frequency.
Some men need more estradiol. This can be accomplished by weekly shots in some.
I know me personally, I split my dose up because everyone said to in order to keep e2 low, and now I’m thinking ii need to go back to weekly shots to get that e2 back up higher.
Point is, maybe the op is good with weekly shots and just needs to reduce test amount a bit. Perhaps his e2 is just slightly high.
SystemLord,
I agree 100% when I first started at the clinic at 8 weeks I asked to switch to biweekly injections, the doctor at the time was extremely open to experimenting and I felt great! However, the staff kept on messing up my prefills and not splitting them up. The new doctor discouraged me constantly about switching back to once a week, even going as far as charging 20.00 to fill 10 extra syringes.
And yes, I hate being given prefilled syringes… it’s not as sanitary as can be.
Roscoe88,
Over the last year if I was given free reign with how my body feels, I would inject 200mg every 5 days. Day 6 and 7 I usually feel like shit currently.
This board criticizes once per week injections like the plague. Some guys need higher e2 and once per week injections may be the only way they can get it up. (pun intended)

Some doctors love to nickel and dim their patients, there’s no good reason why a doctor or nurse can’t show you how to do it yourself from the comfort of your own home.
Studhammer hi bro since you never taken any HCG at all in 10 years on T.R.T how is your DHEA-S and Pregnonolone levels since it’s common knowledge both of those go down on taking Pure Testosterone over time. and one needs to refill pathways by taking Dhea micronized capsules same goes for pregnolone, just wondering if you do supplement both of them in capsule form, since your DHEA is being lowered by taking just Test. if can let me know please. i am on just pure TEST too & hardly touched HCG.
Well, my clinic called me today to tell my my hematocrit is 51. I asked what my estradiol was, it’s 45! and there’s no concern of the clinic even though I e been complaining of high e2 sides including Gyno!
I wonder how quickly a place like defy can take over my care because I don’t want to give this clinic another dime.
I only had to wait 4 weeks.
Were you dehydrated at the time of testing?

Yes, probably the day prior I rented a log splitter and basically fed that thing non-stop not drinking as much as usual. The next morning I had an iced coffee and that’s it.
Dehydration will cause a falsely elevated hematocrit reading

It’s been about 6 months since I’ve donated so I probably will anyway.
