Hate for T-Nation

Facebook is a great website! I love the stuff Mark Zuckerberg posts. I hate all the user generated content though. That part of the website doesn’t really count. I’m just there for the trending articles.

Damn… you’re looking seriously jacked. I haven’t been on in a few. Proud of you brother. Keep it up.

Congrats, T-Nation. You’ve reached a level of success where you’ve earned your own haters.

First article i see when i come back is this better or worse lol? I dont think many if any use these?

I have been a lurker of the forums since 2011.

I agree with you that the forums are where most of my enjoyment and knowledge has come from.
And this knowledge has been mostly non-lifting related.
It is thanks to you and other users that this website became great.

Off the top of my head, authors like countingbeans, orion, emilyq, pushharder… (and 100+ more of which unfortunately I can only remember their avatars).

Their posts and yours have always been a great source of knowledge on “how to live”/philosophy, different perspectives on a myriad of controversial topics and everyday average conflicts and issues.

Nowhere else do you get properly flamed for whining or seeking attention.
Nowhere else do you get proper PIIHB and POIDNH jokes.
And when it comes to advice, it comes from solid people who are not immature, who know from experience both sides of the consequences of a choice.

The most important aspect of the general atmosphere here, is that it seeks to eliminate victimization, self-pity and other non-productive residue from a weak character.
The good advice here seeks to better people via strength and knowledge instead of apathy and fear.
This cannot be found on bodybuildingcom, quora, stackexchange, yahoo answers or whatever websites people post life-related questions to (if there is such a website, please let me know).

Regarding the articles,
there’s no further discussion to be made, when great authors like Jim Wendler, Dan John, Christian Thibaudeau, Matt Kroczaleski, Dave Tate, Dani Shugart, Chris Shugart, Chad Waterbury, Paul Carter and many others,
have shared the work of their careers in synthesized article-sized golden nuggets of knowledge.

Many times I keep re-reading printed articles which I have integrated into my own “bible” for times when there’s doubt.
I should have done the same for certain forum threads and posts.

This post, is a thank you letter to all the T-Nation authors, both on the Articles section and Forums.
I am confident that there’s a large population of lurkers that appreciate your work, even though they will never get to thank you for your efforts.
