damn squats made my L5/T1 area hurt. I think I went soft under some of the later reps.
wednesday night:
weighted pullups - a few doubles with 1 long chain (equal to 2 of the shorter ones) I don’t think this is progression but I don’t care. And next time wear a shirt!
hammer curls - just alternating arms with 20 lb until I got a big pump. Hammer curls are the secret to happy elbows it seems.
Xarena -Yeah I’m pretty embarrassed about the depth. Cutting the depth seems to be the body’s survival mechanism on high rep sets haha.
Fro - It hurt like HELL. I’ve got sort of a wooden box on the ground right now (Cause I made the hooks too high…) That’s gonna rot though, so I’m planning on pouring concrete right before I go on vacation so it can set.
OK, my brother’s crazyass woman called our HOUSE multiple times this morning waking everyone (ME) up at fuckin 6.
Thursday EARLY morning -
Took my warmup very methodically.
BTN push jerk - again, light and fast. I want to PR this soon.
In the last month, I’ve added 20 lb to my OHP, 10 lb (at least, I’m going off last week cause this week wasn’t a good representation) to my DL, 20 lb to my squat, and 15 lb to my bench.
The OHP progress is pretty good, the squat progress is amusing since it’s not a big goal at the moment. I’m very unsatisfied with the DL though.
All of them could be way better. This next month’ll be a real big push, beat those progress rates. (on OHP and DL at least) Stay consistent with protein intake and with training intensity (EVERY day is the highest possible.) Sleep much more to handle this.
Front squat chaos. Somewhere in there I hit 255 which is a 5 lb PR
I did a few light ATG high bar squats just cause I haven’t in a while. I love them. And also messed with form on PL squats - shooting my knees out from the start (externally rotating) with a wider stance. It made depth much easier to get to while keeping my torso more upright. Felt strong
BTN push press/jerk up to 215 (10 lb PR). I got a little sloppy and ended up having to press it out a few inches. Very cool that my triceps could handle that.
