From what I hear, it does not. Maybe a box but not a Rev.Hyper or GHR.

I am working on my garage gym… It will be ready by January and I hope to have all three units.[/quote]

I know this is an OLD thread; but I wanted to update it. New gym opening in Webster/Penfield area. Precision Speed & Strength… Check out www.facebook.com/PrecisionSSD or www.PrecisionSSD.com/

They have a westside reverse hyper, Glute Ham Raise, Deadlift platforms, EliteFTS racks, Westside Racks, etc.

Joe, the owner, has told me he wants it to be a public gym with the private gym feel that we all want. A mixture of powerlifting, strongman, speed, technique and even endurance people. I know he mentioned that he is capping the membership to keep the clutter down.

I’m from Canada, but I think there is Niagara Powerlifting Club based out of Rochester. I don’t know where they train, but I know they do a meet as a troop fundraiser. They also have a website. I’m sure they could help you out.

SIgned up just to bump Precision SSD. Small facility but has a lot of what you’d want in a strength gym. Mono, GHR, Reverse Hyper, 2 nice benches, sled run, etc.

No oly stuff yet, but should be setup for it soon.

Is precision ssd still operational? I’ve tried the website and googling them but the only thing that came up was a video from 2012. I’ve just moved to Rochester and currently looking for a good gym to train at/training partners for powerlifting. I’m at the world gym in Greece right now and it’s been alright so far

I think they closed up show a few years ago. There’s a good amount of powerlifters in Roc but scattered around. There’s some guys at World Gym on East Ave in the city, there’s also a small training crew at Victory Bapist Church in Henrietta, they do weekend group training sessions. There’s a meet coming up in a few weeks might be worth going to and asking around. I train at knockout fitness downtown but it’s not really a powerlifitng gym.
