Happy B-Day Jchenky

We use to hang out at the Sonic, so we would order a pink lemonade and mix it with thunderbird.

JSkanks, the legal drinking age WAS 18 here, but that was a long long time ago, I’ve never met anyone old enough to remember such a magical time to be honest. Strangec is a relic of a glorious time where booze was cheap, the drinking age was 18, and you literally had to kill someone to get a DUI. Otherwise the cops’d just tell you to “drive safe” … I always thought it was a fairy tale until today…

I remeber when they changed the drinking age from 18 to 21, it was the late 80’s but they had a loop hole. You could buy alcohol at 18 but you weren’t allowed to drink it till you turned 21, this was up until the late 90’s I think. Your right about the DWI part two, it wasn’t “are you drunk?” it was “how drunk are you?”.

that is just retarded.

That’s Louisiana baby!! Plus it was because the federal government told the state that they wouldn’t get as much money from them if they didn’t raise the drinking age. So they raised the drinking age but kept the buying age the same.

Because Thunderbird by itself is God awful!! Well, some states are different then others here in the U.S.A. and Louisiana is one of them. There’s a saying now:
Louisiana, third world and proud of it!
