Great load on the abs w/minimal stress on the spine.*
At this point, I can only perform 5 sets of 6. After that I’m wasted. Anyone else out there given these a try yet? Stick them in your routine and be ready for some intense work.
If this exercise is done properly/good form, one should not have an extreme load placed on the spine. The abdominals should take the brunt of the resistance.
If done correctly I would agree w/ BodyIQ. Hanging pike will have minimal stress on the spine. Now if you do hanging pikes on those Ab blaster slings I beg to differ. The Ab slings are the worst for your spine.
