Hey bud. I also work for GNC so that is why I asked. I’m just a part-timer while I go to school full time at Arizona State. I’ve been working at GNC for almost 6 months. If you’re ever in Arizona let me know and we’ll catch a workout or something. Have fun making those peanuts with good ol’ GNC.
You ain’t lying about the peanuts! At least for now I get to be semi-involved with people who are interested into being healthy, although as you know it can be VERY frustrating to try to explain the right way to them. I would say that 90 percent of my customers are like, “just give me my fat burner and leave me alone.” As I stated on another post, in the six years I have been with the company one, count em, one customer has actually known about Biotest/TMag. Am I in the wrong area or is it really like this everywhere? It may be awhile before I get to Arizona, but I’ll look you up if I ever get there. Yes, I have experienced the same thing here in Arizona. Most customers are female and most of them come in and ask if we have Hydroxycut or Xenadrine. Occasionally, I will get a customer who wants to know how it works. This is where I increase sales. After I show them I have knowledge I try to sell them other products. Got to make that 4% commision, only problem is that there ain’t much good stuff to sell. Definitely look me up if you ever get to Phoenix. Full name is Scott Porter.
