Hair Returning After Masteron?

I ran low dose Masteron (100mg/week) for 16 weeks to augment TRT, mainly to increase free T by occupying SHBG. The effects were incredibly positive - it felt as though I was back in the early “honeymoon” phase of TRT - increased libido, energy and reduced brain fog.

In the last 4 weeks of Masteron use, I started to notice some shedding, maybe 6-8 hairs every time I shampooed. I’ve been off Masteron for 2 months, but this shedding is continuing at the same rate. I’ve used nizoral daily for the entire cycle and ever since.

Based on your experiences, does hair tend to grow back after a one-time DHT-based cycle, or is it gone for good? My understanding of DHT-related hair loss is that the exposure of DHT to hair follicles over a long period of time causes them to gradually atrophy, with smaller and finer hairs replacing normal ones, until hair growth eventually stops, so I’m hoping this one cycle doesn’t lead to that

If you are prone to hair loss masteron will make it worse. I was bald before I started mast so it’s no big deal to me. My only hair negative is that it makes me have to shave my body hair once a week.

Have you done any research on Propecia/finasteride to cut down the DHT?

My understanding is that Propecia won’t do anything to help with hairloss related to compounds like Masteron. By inhibiting 5 alpha reductase it will prevent Testosterone from converting to DHT, but Masteron is already structurally similar to DHT, so unfortunately won’t have an effect. Plus the potential side effects scare the crap out of me

Dude how is 8 hairs every time u shower “shedding” ? I shed 50+ hairs every time I shower, zero hairloss. Everyone sheds hair.
