Gynoid Fat Distribution

I’ve asked this sort of question before, but I’m curious if there’s any new information on this. For a man who predominantly stores fat in his hips, buttocks, and thighs, is this due primarily to genetic predisposition or is it hormonal? I know one contributor had liposuction in that area and reported increased T levels afterwards - which begs the question: does storing fat in the hips cause lower T, or does lower T cause fat storage in the hips?

While I know that there is no such thing as spot reduction, if there is some way I could manipulate my diet or supplements to keep from being quite as pear-shaped, that would be great.

Thanks for any replies.

I read in the BodyOpus by Dan Duchaine about the use of yohibine hcl as an effective antagonist for lower body fat cell receptors… However, he mentioned it being applied topically. I dont buy into that method. Yet, it still supports use of yohimbe for lower body fat reduction.

I think topical appliance of a substance known to spot reduce fat might work – however I’ve seen no research to support it.

Might make an interesting research project, but I doubt my department at the university (informatics) would be interested in that.

Anyway, I think there is a good reason so many people claim good results in getting rid of stubborn fat with supplements containing yohimbine, such as HOT-ROX Extreme, lipo6, leanfire… etc

Thanks… I also read about this, but am somewhat skeptical. Did he say anything about hormonal profiles that you know of?
