Gyno surgery

Guys, i have some naturally occuring gyno, and need both lipo and a fatty lump removed. Ive heard of dr nadler in NY, and was wondering if anyone knew of good drs in Massachusettes or new england. Not just plastic surg’s but ones who do good gyno work. thanks, PG

I was diagnosed with unilateral gyno almost a year ago. I wish I could find a doctor who would recommend that it be taken out. A breast specialist told me my case is so minute that it will just go away. Now I’m not a dr. but I’ve never heard of gyno “just going away”. I’ve also seen an internal medicine doctor and an oncologist. No one has recommended surgery of even Nolvadex(heard this stuff can get rid of gyno after it has formed). Any truth to that statement?

can’t say. I know there is a fairly famous guy at Yale that works on bodybuilders, he used to post all the time on the old training and nutrition mailing list(defunct, dating myself now…)

can’t remember his name for the life of me…

honestly though, it may be a bit of a pain in the ass, but you should just go to Dr. Nadler as he is very well known/reputable. It’s a fairly simple thing, but can be fucked up and leave your body looking like Noriegas face.

You’re talking about surgically altering your body, go to the best, always, it’s not even a decision.

Just talking out of my ass here guys, but sometimes BBers make gyno go bye-bye through the use of anti-estrogen drugs such as Nolvadex, Arimidex, and Clomid. Can’t say for sure how it would affect naturally occurring titties that have been there awhile but if I had a set on my chest I’d at least check into it/try it out.

Sides off these drugs are minimal.

as warhorse suggests, this may be an option. I read conficiting information in this area though, some guys say once you get gyno, you have it till it’s removed, others claim the clomid etc… will make it go away. Frankly, I don’t see how it’s possible.

anyhow, if you can’t find a doc that’ll right you a script, there are TONS of internet docs that’ll write you an anti-estro script in a heartbeat. Basically, any of these online sights that’ll write you T scripts will write you anti-estro scripts as well. They will also do so with relative ease(no blood tests).

Thanks for teh info so far guys, anyone else, chime in with your thoughts, dr names

does anyone happen to know of a could doctor who could perform surgery in michigan? i think i have gyno but im not quite positive yet, so im gonna wait it out. im 15, never taken steroids or prohormones, except on a few occasions where i took DHEA but nothing serious. but i have kind of like puffy nipples, i have a big hard chest, its not ripped but its pretty big and muscular, but im not sure if the puffy nipples are just a little extra fat or gyno? any insite on what i should do?

There were other threads about this not too long ago, most people said that if fibrosis already occured its no longer growing but also anti e’s won’t work. I also have natural gyno and have had it since i was about 13-14 and tried 2 months of M and a month of nolva and the lumps felt like they shrank slightly but it didn’t do anything for the fat deposits. I’m looking into surgery at the beginning of the summer too

If you look at my thread in the photo forum its only kinda noticable in the last picture, i could post a close up as kinda a before pic if youre interested

This is the guy you want to talk to:

He’s in Newton Mass, and is a highly regarded plastic surgeon as well as an accomplished bodybuilder.

Good Luck.

Peter,

How old are you? I had the same issue when I was about 12 - 16. Embarassing (esp. at that age) and hurts like hell when you get hit there. The lumps themselves did go away as the doc’s said they would but the fat nipples still are there. Sucks when you bust your ass at the gym and when people see those they think, “Chemically enhanced physique.”

If you’re young my personal opinion is to hold off on surgery. The issue will very likely subside as more T takes over. Then you can assess whether you still need some work done or not.

As far as the Dr. search… sorry, I can’t help much. Good luck.

im 15, ill be 16 in about 4 months. i figure that its just something with puberty, i dunno but it really bothers me, it has looked like its going away a little bit, maybe kuz my chest is getting bigger. i dunno but if it doesnt go away within a few years i may need surgery.

i forgot to add in my post above that it also has never hurt or anything, even if i wereto punch myself in the chest, so i think it might just be a stubborn fat store for me to get rid of.
