Gym Parking Lot Punks

Who are you talking to?

You saw it here first, ladies and gentlemen!

If you don’t make a habit of running and hiding from stupid punk kids outside a gym and actually have the balls to print that fact, you are now officially a member of the INTERNET BADASS CLUB or I.B.C.!

Get real.

Haha, yeah thats a great scene.

A

Reminds me of Commando when Arnie and the other guy are on the plane. Arnie leans forward to fix his blanket then jumps back sharply and elbows the guy in the face; proceeded by a neck snap. Puts the guys hat over his face and tells the stewardess “not to disturb my friend; he’s dead tired”.

Could do the same at the gym - but somehow use a squat rack.
My favorite was in the corvette with the used car salesman in True Lies.

He must have been back to the gym by now! Give us a fuckin update!

Maybe he tried to walk on his own this time and they got him…

Good one

No! No! No!..we’ve got to think positive! Maybe he was smart and just decided to stop lifting. No confrontations, no stress, and as an added benifit no more of those pesky little calluses on his hands from those nasty old bars.

To anyone who calls those of us that tend to handle our problems by confronting them head on, not ducking back to get an escort “internet badasses”.

Yeah agreed. Misread your post.

Hmm…how old are the people posting these messages and where do they live? I can’t remember the last time I saw people ready to fight—especially over a piece of gym equipment. To be honest, I’m not sure how I’d react because

I’d be so surprised at someone threatening me with violence–Ok…actually radical Islamists threaten myself and the rest of the inhabitants of NYC on a daily basis but that’s different
(In a British accent) So, perhaps we should engage in fisticuffs? Shall we strike each other atop the head and upon the body in an effort to resolve this pressing issue?

In related news me and a bunch of friends were playing CS at a LAN place. So I named myself Maurice_Clarett and proceeded to mow everyone down with an AK-47 all game. While occasionally yelling MAURICE CLARETT BITCHES!!!

Yes, my internet badassery has reached an entirely new height.

We’re not talking about fighting over gym equipment. The punks in the gym seem to be pissed off about the bench NOT the OP. Slow down and read carefully.

We are talking about not backing down when a couple of punk kids try to intimidate us. No matter how silly thier “cause”.

I’m 35 and from MA. Father of two.

I’m the kind of guy who wont flip someone off when cut me off in traffic. I usually keep my mouth shut when someone cuts me in line at the store. I avoid trouble when it can be avoided and do not purposly escalate non-issues into real problems.

However, when innocent, and confronted by pure idiocy that is obviously intended to do me harm, I tend to stand my ground when forced to and not hide.

I must be an internet badass!

I’m 260 lbs with a nice powerlifting belly. No one bothers me but I’ve never seen any problems at the gym I train at. I once had a guy refuse to spot me. I asked him for one and he said “no.”

Who does that. I wanted to hit him like a lot of people might. Maybe I’m just easily pissed by poor manners. It was a good grunt gym and guys would always ask whoever for a spot so it should have been fine. I let it go.

This guy you delt with is wierd. The other guy was right he was probably already pissed.

Pzz
why are you so mad about someone not wanting to spot you? they aren’t required to. maybe you shouldn’t interrupt their focus. maybe you should get help from the gym staff

What the fuck are you talking about? He did not get mad, just pissed a little, nothing wrong with that, fuels the fire… Look, its one thing if you interrupt someone during his prep for a set or during a set, that shit is uncalled for. And plus the would be spotter can spot when he is ready to, no sooner.

If some guy needs a spot on his heavy lift to get that extra bit out of him, I am going to spot him.

Most of the gym staff at the gyms I train would not be able to spot my warm up weight, you think I am going to trust them with my heavy shit?

I am a little shocked. Are people on this board really running from every threat they come across and thinking this is the thing for a grown man to do?

Thanks D. Checked out your blog, nice lifts bro.

This does bring up a good point about the sad state of affairs of this once proud brotherhood of iron. What the fuck happened? Am I the only nostalgic mofo on this site? I feel a thread coming on.

Yeah, that looks to be about right. You, me and a few others here are the exception. Run, Forrest, RUN!

Maybe they can start a new website;

T(ransvestite) Nation?

No, you’re not the only nostalgic mofo. I’m with you. This sad state is why I opened my own place.

Two squat racks, dip unit, t-bar row, chin bar and enough weight to make things interesting.

The world is becoming pussified before our eyes.

Becoming? It’s already there my friend.

And to think this thread is found on a site called Testosterone.
