Gwyneth Paltrow Has Osteopenia

would be nice if all this were true… unfortunately in the wider world the best guys like the Gwyneth Paltrow type.
I agree but its a double edge sword. Men want to be bigger than the woman they are with for lots of different reasons, from being able to toss them around in bed to being able to impress them by picking up heavy shit. But younger guys see the twilight twinks of TV and think thats what they are supposed to look like. So now you’ve got 6’ 140 guys and young girls think “Crap I gotta be smaller than him,”

My own personal belief is that if, as a male, you cannot support a healthy woman against a wall for a little bit of lovin you need to get stronger and bigger.

One of my closest friends is 5’ 9" 165lbs very well porportioned and if we were both not spoken for I’d pour BBQ sauce on her and work her like a rib.

I live with both. It’s definitely the mountain lions I fear. I’m working very, very hard to not look like one of those frail, sickly types that wouldn’t be chosen. (Sniff, sniff).
Haha good luck. I’m sure the lions and bears will notice how much you can lift and they won’t fuck with you. I won’t!

I think guys’ views differ for many reasons, although I don’t know the reasons. I know that one guy on another forum says that I look like a man but for every 1 guy who don’t like you, there’s 8 more in line to do you. I found that I date skinny guys, they still work out but they were a lot thinner than me and they love me how I am. Even my current love is skinny (doesn’t work out but eats like all hell) and LOVES my body. And I’m a lot more built than him. He doesn’t find it intimidating in the least.

I say we don’t try to change to match men, just find the man who appreciates you for you. I remember, who was it Mario Lopez? who told his wife to get a personal trainer and surgery. If a guy is like that, move on. Everyone has different views on EVERYTHING, it only makes sense that people have their preferences for the opposite sex.

I think this is all any of us are trying to do. No matter how healthy you look, there’s always room to look healthier/have a bigger ass.

On the most basic, primal level, people are attracted to the healthiest looking individuals. Its just simple evolutionary science, survival of the fittest. The best female mate is the one who looks like she is most capable of carrying offspring to term and then making it through the child bearing process without dying, in turn the best male mate is the one who looks like he can collect food and defend the family against lions and shit. Of course, the roles are not mututally exclusive because in a hunter/gatherer society, women would have to do pretty much everything as well. If someone is attracted to a breakable, frail person, their genes would be doomed anyway in a pure model of society.

If you chose a sickly mate they’ll end up getting sick and dying or eaten by a mountain lion or something before you can even reproduce. Those who deny an attraction to healthy looking people are living in a delusional haze created by the media/contrived social norms like women should be weaker than men, women should be physically unable etc… and are not in touch with the urges that made their ancestors such survival experts. I would have to disagree Alisa, and say the “best” men are indeed attracted to the healthiest looking women.

Now, I do digress because I understand there are medical conditions that would make quality mates appear less healthy, and that doesn’t undermine their worth, especially in a society where adaptations can be made to allow them to live healthy safe lives. I just get annoyed with sedentary, unhealthy people who are fully physically capable of being fit and able and wish they would all get eaten by lions.
You have got it all wrong. Bears are the real threat.

Actually, it’s bears with flame-thrower breath that will really fuck you up.
Back in college one of my friends had a very attractive mom and I used to tell her that all the time.
