Gun Love Thread

Oh, and you people with your shiny revolvers should listen to this song and then trade it in for a few Glocks

I own:

 1. Springfield 45 Stubby - ported ( wanna get rid of this gun, kinda worthless)
 2. Remington 870 (the chevy of shotguns)
 3. 1921 model M1 30.06 (provides some max penetration)

but,

have been talking about getting the H&K ACP 45 for a few years now, need to get off my ass and buy it~
But H&K thinks you suck, and they hate you.

FYI: Doc Skeptix and I are going gun shopping this weekend!

He will be a first time gun owner and is looking for a gun for self defense. Chime in!
Hope he does not live in NY they are now voting on a bill that limits magazines to 7 rounds.

But you can never go wrong with a Sig P250 or my favorite carry a Glock 27

REALLY low quality pics taken with the iPad. Top two are mine (.45 and .40) and the bottom are the wife’s (.38 and .22).

More grainy images…

Want to sell and buy an LWRC M6

This was a gift, and is a lot of fun.

And last crappy photo…Remington .308

^^^Nice upside down pic…jeesh. Will probably sell the H&K .40, as I just don’t shoot it as much. Had it for 10 years and probably only put 400 rounds through it.

Last purchase. Mossberg 500, Thunder Ranch edition. Basic, but infinitely customizable and versatile. I’ve added a shell holder to the stock.
I also picked up a Mossberg 500 recently! Pistol grip, 18.5" barrel, and evil heat shield. Wicked fun.

I had that configuration too in the past. Google ā€œchicken head gripā€ and check it out. Maybe not exactly practical, but very cool looking. ā€œTacti-cool.ā€ This was my Jeep-gun for a while, only with the legal barrel length.

I have had the Benelli Nova Pump Tac 12-gauge since 2011. All black. The model itself is wonderful their customer service is horrible though. I wouldn’t mind buying an AK-74 (not the standard 47 model) but I doubt it will happen.

I just bought these two: a S & W SD 40 VE and a Remington 870 tactical.

(BTW, V is NOT for Vendetta)
Word to the wise…Don’t mess with Push’s daughter.

I don’t see it ever getting to the point where they come for what you already legally own. If we do get to that point, well, hopefully I’m no longer around.

As far as gun love, I’m planning on getting my CCW permit soon, so I’ll be in the market for a .380 or 9 mm ā€œpocket pistolā€ such as the Tarus TCP, Ruger LCP, or Kel-Tec.

Anyone have any thoughts on the above? I already own a S&W Sigma 9 mm, so I do like the ability to use the same ammo between the 2 guns if I go the 9 mm over the .380 route.
.380 ammo is a lot harder to find than .9’s. My wife liked the 380 a lot, but the ammo situation has us leaning toward the Ruger 9. I haven’t shot the Tarus, but I like the Ruger better than the Glock. It’s easier to aim.

Jealous of the 45-70. One of those has been on my list for YEARS but something always happens–recently it was a 300 dollar medical bill for the baby and a 600 dollar car repair (unrelated!).
Same here, but the current administration is forcing my hand, with their intended crack down and plans to circumvent the constitution to do it, I need to go on and make my move. I was content to wait a bit longer, but with the hammer coming down, I plan to get them in the next 6 months, which is the plan. I am planning on the .357 and the Ruger .9 (with pink inlays, obviously for my wife) and if I can afford one more I will get ā€˜The Judge’, which in my opinion is the best protection gun for a house. Mainly because it can take shot gun shells and hence your aim doesn’t have to be as good. I figure in a panic situation, this would be beneficial.

Wish list:

Remington 700
Glock 21SF
S & W .44 Magnum
Mossberg 590, Benelli Super 90, or a Remingotn 870
Some type of AR-15 platform

I want to shoot a .44, bad…I want to feel how it is to control.

My last purchase was a Gen 4 Glock 26 i got from a pawnshop for $499 new. Nice little gun, much easier to carry than my XD .45. My only complaint is that my little finger hangs off the grip, which ive ordered a pearce grip extension to fix.
That’s a good pocket gun. I have shot it, but I don’t do well with little guns, my hands are to shaky, and I find the kick back to harsh.
It’s handy to have if you need to conceal a weapon though.

Nice! That will get the job done. Maybe should put a gun rack in my car…

My favorite is this one with the matching bayonet. It has some damage to the mum but it’s about 50% intact. I would love to find some rounds for it but I’m not sure that I trust it 100%.

That’s just pretty.
