This is just to tide us over until we move out fo the PEople’s Republic of Mass.
Cheap gun safes are notoriously easy to break into, and provide literally no security against robbery. They are effective lock boxes to keep kids, friends, and family out of your stuff. I have a cheap one from harbor freight for that purpose. It’s like the one you posted, but a little bigger, and you can find a 20% coupon at least somewhere.

This is mainly the goal here. My house is located in a busy area, so I don’t expect anyone to be wanting to spend and significant amount of time in the house breaking into this.

268/300 Glock 21 w/XS big dot sights. More of a rough estimate as I didn’t score until the very end. Should have scored between each stage to be more accurate. If it was slightly touching the line, I gave it the higher score the way it was done in the military. I only managed to count 29 rounds so left the last one off target.
Dat .45acp… Glocks are so cool
I shot the bullseye challenge today and it was just plain embarrassing. 3 of 10 scoring from 25 yards, and not much better at 15. The gun was a Glock 35, which I generally can shoot well. My goal by the end of this season is a passing score.
I started right away at the 25 yard line with no warmup, but I think that’s how it should be shot.
I kept shooting and things improved a bit, but I didn’t shoot it again for score.
Also, finally had a chance to put that rifle together last week and tuned in the gas system today as well. Trying to figure out if I want a 1-6 or 2.5-10 scope on it. Sold my last one which had a heavy 18" barrel on it, which made it way too heavy and a pain in the ass. This one makes me like ARs again.
We touched on concealed carry before and a belly band came up as an alternative. Anyone have one and if they do, please shed some light on the pros and cons? They look hot and not very breathable. FYI, it’s for a Ruger SR9c(sub-compact)

Okay who has suggestions on where to get the Glock 41?
Bro,
Do you have an Army Navy store down there? I went to my local "Crap"bela’s to find the gun I liked and then ordered it on line at the Army Navy website.

How’s this one look?
I own one and use it when cycling. It is fairly “stuffy” but it gets the job done. I carry a G19 with it and have no real complaints about it other than drawing my weapon is cumbersome and takes longer than I’d like it too, but that’s just the design of these type holsters. This holster works well for when wearing gym clothes and clothes of that nature, where one cannot wear a belt.
You didn’t ask, but I would recommend an OIld Faithful holster or a crossbreed. I’ve worn this for the last several years. All day comfort carying a G17 or 19 wearing cargo shorts and a tee shirt. No big deal.
EDIT - get a gun holster or a good “rigger belt” for carying a gun. You can have a top of the line holster on a shitty belt and that alone will make your whole system suck.

I have one and never use it. Honestly, the best holster for it I have used so far is the plain old Uncle Mike’s size 5 IWB for my SR9c. It carries fine in that, it’s not hot, I don’t care what happens to the holster because I can replace it for $15, it holds an SR9c great and conceals well. I even have the pinky extension on my short mag and it conceals without issue.

I got a belly band after my post and truthfully, It sucks! The up to 38" waist should be up to a 48" waist. I’m about a 36" and I have a boatload of material left over after I rap myself in the scuba suit.
Ow it it is hot and only May; 60 degrees in PA. I carry mid back 6 oclock position so I don’t have an issue with it coming up but anywhere in the front, it will pop out when you sit down.
I decided to forgo the pinky extension for less of a profile print.

Yeah, I am not a fan, I may try it with the 1911 and see how it prints with that gun. I carry in the front though. I just feel like the back makes me too vulnerable. I cannot see if it’s exposed, if I bend over it shows, at least the outline, and my biggest fear carrying in the back is somebody running up and grabbing it.
I have found a way to make it fairly comfortable to carry in the front and I won’t carry a gun without a safety so I don’t accidentally blow my balls off.
I know some folks don’t like safeties, but I cannot figure out why. If you don’t like it, then leave it on ‘Fire’. I have a Walther PPX that doesn’t have a safety, it’s a great shooter, but it’s got a 3 pound trigger with a short pull. It’s generally too big for a carry gun, but if I did, I would have to carry unchambered. That trigger is to light. But I would rather just drop the safety and be ready. That’s why I love the SR9c. It’s the perfect gun. It’s got the right size for a solid 9 mm, but it’s small enough to carry. It’s comfortable to shoot all day and you can carry 11 rounds of +P+. If you need more than that to get out of trouble, you’re in some real deep shit.

I’m forever pulling my pants up and shirt down like a fat girl at a titty bar. I’m also waiting for someone to see it at work, no policy but some bitch will say something.

I don’t carry hot; none in the chamber and safety on. So it takes another 2 seconds, I’ll deal with it. Better than having to run home and get it out of the gun safe during a time of need.
I always wondered why us guys are worried about putting one in a nut but have no issues with blowing ourselves a new shit hole!
I have another recommendation for concealed carry holsters. Check out bravo concealment. Kydex that can can worn on the belt or in the waist band. Good retention and fairly flat. Sits close to the body with the pancake loops. It takes awhile for it to be made but in my opinion worth the wait. Customer service excellent.
