I feel that sexual frustration works best for me. Thats why I look at porn inbetween sets.
Porn is very good (especially lesbians). But I don’t look at it during the training, especially if there are girls in the gym. Traditionally after the training day.
I’m not really in the habit of using vids to get motivated. Usually I try to lift very calm 99% of the time and actively avoid hyping myself up for sets.
I save the pre workout caffeine and hype up for special occasions lol. When i switch it on it makes a big boost in performance. The high psychological arousal is very draining though so I think if I did it every set every workout I would burnout in time

How long you should rest is going to depend on how you are training, with submaximal work you can get away with short breaks, that can also be used to build work capacity. But if you are doing high rep sets on any compound movement or heavy low rep sets then there is nothing wrong with resting 5 minutes or even more if needed. Amit Sapir said that he rests 10-20 minutes between squat work sets, all those records can’t be wrong.
Legit tho, if my girlfriend teased me for an hour and then was like “If you dont get a 10lb pr then no sex for the week” I would throw some weight through the fucking roof.

Will check around the gym today to see what equipment there is and try out some of the supplemental lifts that are in the Sheiko program or stuff I might sub in. Have never dont good mornings before so will try them out a bit and see if there’s gains to be had.
Hit some singles for form check and had to check myself and not go heavy to be as fresh as possible for next week and starting Sheiko.

Doesn’t look very tight at all and squatting too deep but I’m not too mad. It’s just stuff that I’ll have to work on.
Pause Squat

Dunno where to pause exactly lol. At parallel felt the same as lower where I get the bounce.
Pause Bench

Technically a cheeky paused bench PR lol. Stuff to work on here too. Need a bigger arch and to hold a better shoulder position and maintain it especially with reps. Also I do focuses on these things that I still haven’t got around to maximising leg drive. Work in progress.
I think so the supplemental movement I’ll keep it simple with long pause bench. Just going from touch and go to actually pausing a few weeks ago made a huge difference so hopefully a long pause gets me more gains.
Sumo Deadlift

Always tempted to go 4 plates and beyond but stopped at 1 fiddy. Still working on head position and I reckon it’s gotten a little more comfortable.
Beltless lol cos it feels better oh well. Experimenting with taking air while upright which is pretty good
Supplemental exercise for DL is gonna be 2-3 count
pauses right off the floor.
Chill day of eating (still hit protein goals though) and chill session at the gym but looking forward to future gains.
