Squats felt pre shitty today and slow so bitched out.
Pause Benchy

Some pause benching with 90kg. Working on actually pausing instead of half count pausing lol. Didn’t do too well at that though.

Sumo Deadlift
200kg x 3,3,3
After max reps with 195kg last session adding 5kg to the bar for 200kg. The 15kg plate looks so much bigger and cooler than the black ones for some reason.
Pretty slow shitty feeling reps but was expected after the AMRAP last session. Most concerning was that my back was noticeably rounding. Front angle looked meh but side angle is pretty much flipcollar like

Called the workout their cos was feeling pretty shit.
Poor session overall but not too fussed. Won’t be taking any pre workout naps lol. Next time will be better

Front angle for the Gram but side angle to improve yourself. Don’t need to show everybody the side angle if it makes you uncomfortable precious snowflake pig lel as long as you use it to make gains.

I really need to start doing like long pauses like 5 count pause cos I count fast. I think I use more leg drive when I do that… weird.
How are your pauses mr I don’t take vids of my bench. Is it like IPF pause or press is called before you touch chest?
In all seriousness I pause way longer than needed on all my training sets. All my bench for the last 2 months have been 3 count pauses (longer than your first rep) and I think that’s definitely contributed to my bench gains.
Edit: My PR was just a normal comp pause.

Not wanting to fuck up the meet is why I’m practicing the pause so much, 10 years of bodybuilder style benching, didn’t want to get up there and realise a 2 count pause halfs my 1rm.
Which one are you on? I remember when I was running sheiko 32 I was in the gym for 2.5-3hrs. Luckily I was at my Universities gym so I could sleep there. #praisebetosheiko
