Fuck naw, got new inzer wrist wraps, bear komplex sleeves, and a 13mm 4in lever belt from iron bull. SBD and IPF can put my testicles in their mouths
You should send some to me so I can make sure
Australia here tho none of that Amazon stuff
Buy those weird looking five finger vibram toe shoes

Nah man im not gay sorry
With the spending spree you are talking about you’ll be lucky to have enough cashola left over for a pair of deadlift slippers
Haha pretty much.
Just curious, Whats your opinion on heels up vs. heels down when benching? I have had alot of people give me shit cause they say its cheating having your heels up. All it does for me is help me keep my lower body tight, coulnt quite get to teh same level with my feet down. I also feel like i can create better leg drive, but thats just me
Completely indifferent. In my mind at a given level of arching I can’t really see why it matters.
My issue with the arch is that its not a case of shifting which muscles are being used, in the way that wide vs narrow stance squats do, but its physical contortion to mean that NO muscle is having to move it, because you simply arent having to move it through that range of motion.
You Aussies don’t have amazon?
I agree 100%, some arches that people create are ridiculous. Not that impressive benching 4 plates when your range of motion is 1/2 inch.
re: sleeves. I have the SBD’s. Very familiar with what they feel like. I know people that have thick neoprene sleeves that are sized so small they need 2 friends and baby powder to slip them on. Those guys still aren’t getting the numbers out of them that you’re claiming. Not remotely close. Trust me dude, it’s mental. I have so much more familiarity with this than you do, I’m worth listening to. For myself, the last time I did a PL meet, I trained every session in sleeves, couldn’t wear them for comp because rules, and still set a PR. It didn’t make a single kg of difference. The biggest advantage of neoprene sleeves is simply that they keep the knee joint warm. That’s it. Promotes joint health.
re:weigh-outs. A horrible idea in my opinion. You know what that would promote? Dehydration DURING comps, diuretic use mid-comp, etc. Sounds fucking stupid to me. I’d rather see athletes doing a controlled water cut while not in the midst of lifting weights than trying to manage their bodyweight throughout a comp and make a weight right after lifting.
Agree on weigh outs. I certainly prefer weigh-ins as a concept, just thought it was interesting.
you know what might really make sense? Weigh-ins directly before your squat opener. step on the scale while you’re next in line to lift. You’d still have to worry about folks coming in dehydrated and lifting in shitty condition, but I think it’d be minimized because that would clearly affect performance in a substantial way.

+1 on advice tho
To be fair, for whatever reason I feel like flip is one of the most jacked guy on here that no ones listens to. The beginners section is generally rank novices that weigh half as much as him, talking like they know better than he does. It’s quite strange
When flip talks, I listen. End of story.
New figure 8 straps arrived (lost my old pair) from Underground Elite. Next day delivery master race. Can’t wait to try them out. Has always been a bit awkward to pull sumo with them tho
Sumo = Cheating
Straps = Cheating
Figure 8 Straps = Cheating squared
Sumo + Figure 8 Straps = Cheating^2 + Cheating
Agree 100% on this.
