I missed this part earlier, it sounds like it’s just putting a bit of stretch on your hip flexors, which is to be expected. I don’t know if it makes a huge difference, but I do them with the raised foot further back so the knee doesn’t restrict ROM. It’s probably harder to balance like that though.

It passed after like the first set lol. Loads of people nowadays probably have funky hips from sitting it’s like hours of anti mobility work lol. Can’t hurt to be moving the hip flexors into a stretched position a lot so that’s another benefit of this movement

Deload sesh number one in the books today in Shepparton. Just going through the motions. Squat and Deadlift a bit more shit than was expecting but hauling logs yesterday was probably the cause.

I get the impression that most of these guys aren’t thinking so far ahead. Especially if they have been using since they were young and once they are 40 or so decide to have some kids. But anyway, @Rizla81 mentioned hcg and hmg, which I looked up and are used as fertility drugs. If you can afford a fertility doctor then it sounds like there is a good chance that can be sorted out, otherwise your wife might be looking for a 3rd party sperm donor.

It can be done. See how it goes this year. We have a fertility clinic lined up close to home. To be fair I could be doing a lot more to boost my chances, like stopping smoking etc. I never took it serious enough when on the HCG, which I believe was probably bunk anyway. It was a brand I had never heard of.

There no point dwelling on the fact I shouldn’t have used gear, that’s history now. Gonna get off the smokes, get myself some proper pharma HCG and possibly HMG, lower my dose to TRT bare minimum and start tanking her more often. This all after my cycle of course - priorities haha

Sorry @guineapig for hijacking just a bit.

Rizla I have zero experience with TRT (Testosterone Replacement Therapy, right?) .
Is this because you’ve used testosterone and the likes and can’t produce it yourself? or is there something else to it?
Just curious if it’s to personal just ignore it.

Hey @mortdk, yes replacement therapy. After running a load of cycles in my youth my baseline Test ended up the same as a 90 year old man. I have attempted restarts with HCG and serms and even went cold turkey for close to a year, but couldn’t bare it any longer. Having low test I was depressed, could hardly function and had zero sex drive. TRT fixed these problems. I feel great in every aspect, It’s just the fertility. It can be done while on TRT using the right drugs. See what happens this year mate fingers crossed.

Sorry to hear that man, just glad I didn’t join the wagon years back. Now I’m to old for that.
I hope you’ll find a way to fertility this year, having a family is awesome.

Deload week done. Was kinda cluster fuck because I only ended up having one sesh but meh. Now onto the next block.

Got a road trip to Mornington tomoz so gonna squeeze a sesh in tonight

Today’s menu includes lower body stuff.

Fatigue Levels SBD: 4,3,6

Deficit Sumo Deadlift 4 Sets @ 150kg
Chest Supported Rows 6 Sets
Weighted Back Raises 4 Sets @ 15kg
Hamstring Curls 4 Sets
Leg Press 3 Sets

Playing with new loaded lifting figure 8 straps. Was hoping it’d help with a faster set up and less resetting during the set with normal straps.

Not exactly lol: They are a bit big/long and hang lower than I’d like though and come loose anyway as the set goes on. Did all 4 Sets with figure 8 straps but didn’t get any better.

Verdict=regular straps are better. Disappointed lol

Finished off with some accessories. Weighted back Raises getting my butt sore and finally narrowed down a leg Press that is close to squatting and doesn’t bother my back or anything. Now just to progress on these.

Stopped by Doherty’s Dandenong today. Incredible gym at least the equal of Brunswick maybe even better for Powerlifting and Strongman.

Comp bench, monolift, Eleiko bar (not bent to fuck), a SSB that actually has pads on it, DL bar, squat bar and more. Incredible gym pretty mad that I can’t go there all the time.
