We had 3 interesting baptisms today. A 90 year old women, her daughter and the daughter’s son, all white. Baptized by one of our pastors and assisted by 2 of the deacons, all black.
I forgot I owed Dabba a response here =[

I actually took you that way. Slavery was not universally practiced as the grinding, brutal, dehumanizing oppression that it is pretty much only known for and northern Christians were VERY heavily involved in emancipation. The point today is we do live together and in Christ it isn’t even difficult to not just get along, but love one another as family. Are saying we should avoid that?
Yeah right… Those Southern fried rednecks used the biblical passages to justify their devilish ways…
Leviticus 25:44-46
King James Version (KJV)
44Both thy bondmen, and thy bondmaids, which thou shalt have, shall be of the heathen that are round about you; of them shall ye buy bondmen and bondmaids.
45Moreover of the children of the strangers that do sojourn among you, of them shall ye buy, and of their families that are with you, which they begat in your land: and they shall be your possession.
46And ye shall take them as an inheritance for your children after you, to inherit them for a possession; they shall be your bondmen for ever: but over your brethren the children of Israel, ye shall not rule one over another with rigour.
Exodus 21:7-11
7 â??If a man sells his daughter as a servant, she is not to go free as male servants do. 8 If she does not please the master who has selected her for himself,[a] he must let her be redeemed. He has no right to sell her to foreigners, because he has broken faith with her. 9 If he selects her for his son, he must grant her the rights of a daughter. 10 If he marries another woman, he must not deprive the first one of her food, clothing and marital rights. 11 If he does not provide her with these three things, she is to go free, without any payment of money.

Dude I get it, my grandfathers were almost killed off by the British government and red-headed protestant traitors of the Great Motherland. Even have a few cousins fighting the good fight.
Though, my grandfathers on my other side were Spanish Colonists, so I am not sure how you feel about that.

Isaiah 40:
<<< 12-Who has measured the waters in the hollow of His hand,
And marked off the heavens by the span,
And calculated the dust of the earth by the measure,
And weighed the mountains in a balance
And the hills in a pair of scales?
13-Who has directed the Spirit of the LORD,
Or as His counselor has informed Him?
14-With whom did He consult and who gave Him understanding?
And who taught Him in the path of justice and taught Him knowledge
And informed Him of the way of understanding?
15-Behold, the nations are like a drop from a bucket,
And are regarded as a speck of dust on the scales;
Behold, He lifts up the islands like fine dust.
16-Even Lebanon is not enough to burn,
Nor its beasts enough for a burnt offering.
17-All the nations are as nothing before Him,
They are regarded by Him as less than nothing and meaningless.
18-To whom then will you liken God?
Or what likeness will you compare with Him? <<<
21-Do you not know? Have you not heard?
Has it not been declared to you from the beginning?
Have you not understood from the foundations of the earth?
22-It is He who sits above the circle of the earth,
And its inhabitants are like grasshoppers,
Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain
And spreads them out like a tent to dwell in.
23-He it is who reduces rulers to nothing,
Who makes the judges of the earth meaningless.
24-Scarcely have they been planted,
Scarcely have they been sown,
Scarcely has their stock taken root in the earth,
But He merely blows on them, and they wither,
And the storm carries them away like stubble.
25-“To whom then will you liken Me
That I would be his equal?” says the Holy One.
26-Lift up your eyes on high
And see who has created these stars,
The One who leads forth their host by number,
He calls them all by name;
Because of the greatness of His might and the strength of His power,
Not one of them is missing. >>>
All glory, honor and praise be to His magnificent name.
For instance, many of the world’s crucified god men have their traditional birthday on December 25th (“Christmas”). This was a basic understanding we had in WCG and was not off the mark. Today, there is many times more material to show this connection.
This is because the ancients recognized that (from an earthcentric perspective) the sun makes an annual descent southward until December 21st or 22nd, the winter solstice, when it stops moving southerly for three days and then starts to move northward again. During this time, the ancients declared that “God’s sun” had “died” for three days and was “born again” on December 25th. So Xmas really is the Birthday of the SUN/SON in every way.

I hate to inform you, but God didn’t not die December 22. He died Good Friday and was Resurrected Easter Sunday.

Jist a cute psychological device for convincing yourself you’re not accountable to the God you know is there, but refuse to acknowledge?
Psalm 139:1-18
For the choir director. A Psalm of David.
1-O LORD, You have searched me and known me.
2-You know when I sit down and when I rise up;
You understand my thought from afar.
3-You scrutinize my path and my lying down,
And are intimately acquainted with all my ways.
4-Even before there is a word on my tongue,
Behold, O LORD, You know it all.
5-You have enclosed me behind and before,
And laid Your hand upon me.
6-Such knowledge is too wonderful for me;
It is too high, I cannot attain to it.
7-Where can I go from Your Spirit?
Or where can I flee from Your presence?
8-If I ascend to heaven, You are there;
If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, You are there.
9-If I take the wings of the dawn,
If I dwell in the remotest part of the sea,
10-Even there Your hand will lead me,
And Your right hand will lay hold of me.
11-If I say, “Surely the darkness will overwhelm me,
And the light around me will be night,”
12-Even the darkness is not dark to You,
And the night is as bright as the day.
Darkness and light are alike to You.
13-For You formed my inward parts;
You wove me in my mother’s womb.
14-I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Wonderful are Your works,
And my soul knows it very well.
15-My frame was not hidden from You,
When I was made in secret,
And skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth;
16-Your eyes have seen my unformed substance;
And in Your book were all written
The days that were ordained for me,
When as yet there was not one of them.
17-How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God!
How vast is the sum of them!
18-If I should count them, they would outnumber the sand.
When I awake, I am still with You. >>>
Yeah, that must be it.
How goes it, T?

Correction, Christ’s birthday is celebrated from the 25th to the 31st and is considered one day, the next six days up until Jan. 6th is the rest of Christmas and all twelve days was considered one week (25th-31st is one day, then the other six are the rest of the week) before we had the Gregorian Calender. That’s why I like being Catholic, you get one day off of work, I have twelve calender days off of work.
