Basically, everything on that list is wrong or out of context.
First, Leviticus and the Law in general has NO or very little APPLICATION to non-Jewish people. So eat all the Lobster and Cheeseburgers you want.
Second, many of the restrictions relate to Temple practice. If you haven’t noticed, there is currently a pagan shrine squarely on the Temple Mount, so these are innaplicable.
Third, some are just stupid. Cotton/poly blend? Go read the Torah in Hebrew, your translation (which actually regards defrauding people by mixing in cheap fabric with good) is off.
Malicious gossip, is, indeed, forbidden for Jewish people to do. I think this is a good thing, but most fall short.

Which is awesome! It shows how misconstrued the Bible has been! The fact that you or anyone else who knows the Old Testament and/or New Testament can refute every one of those points is awesome! Context is everything when it comes to religion. Jesus taught in parables, the prophets of the Old Testament taught in parables. Parables make things understandable to the common populace, it’s a great way to teach as long as you remember it’s a parable and not to be taken literally. ![]()

My thing is how can you trust man to interpret what god has said?
To quote the great Dr. House…
“Everyone lies”

Soulja, I think whoever made that four types of people chart doesn’t know their shit.
I don’t think the Pope would claim to be a Gnostic (or is a Gnostic). Gnosticism says Jesus is divine and not man. That God gives certain people have a gift that knowledge about God. That would be heretical being a Catholic.
Agnostics say that you cannot know anything about God, he is inaccessible to man.
Theist believes in God
Atheist does not believe in God
Here I’ll show you simple
Gnostic - Greek for Knowledge (of God)
Agnostic - No knowledge (of God)
Theist - Believes in God
Atheist - Does not believe in God
Putting an A in the front of something usually makes it the opposite of the root word both the case in Gnostic and Theist.
Gnosticism is a heresy in the Catholic Church, so is agnostic and atheists is just a schism. Correct me if I am wrong.
That flowchart was the fucking funniest thing i’ve seen in awhile.
I fucking love bacon haha
I know a lot of people quote the bible and with “crazy” scripture like the pic before with the chalkboard. But one must UNDERSTAND the bible, not just read it. Old Testament scriptures are generally observed as HISTORY BOOKS, Not common practice; You may notice that people who quote things that are crazy sounding tend to derive them from the old testament. Most of this is considered old law.
However, if you read the New Testament, This is generally what most Catholic/Christian believers follow, with the exception of a few cults here and there.

Well, Jews don’t have the New Testament, just the old one. The Christian Bible includes the Old Testament and the New Testament, which is about Jesus and his teachings and crucifixion and resurrection. Since the Jews don’t believe that, they don’t have that part.

It is also incomplete. At Mount Sinai, the Torah (the written law) was accompanied by the oral law (the Talmud). Many of the harsher things are explained rather nicely there.
The teachings of the “new testament” (the Golden Rule, for example) are merely the recounting of the teachings of Rabbi Hillel, who predated Jesus of Nazareth by a couple hundred years.
