I would love to have them around - they are handy for the car, the golf bag, trips and such so I would buy a box or two but go through them slowly. Peanut butter chocolate sounds great.

Yes, I would buy Grow Bars direct. A buck a bar would be nice. And I don’t care what flavor as long as they taste good.

  3. The lemon was pretty good, but I got tired of it quickly. The peanut butter wasn’t that good in my opinion, plus it was excessively chewy. Stick with chocolate because that should be easy to make. EAS had a great tasting apple-cinnamon bar I liked, but I can’t find it anymore; I like that flavor.

In general, I think you’ll need a couple flavors just for the variety.

I’m a low carb guy, so a little less corn syrup would be great too. You need high quality sweeteners to go along with the high quality protein, and I don’t think HFCS cuts it.

I would definitely recommended doing away with the high-fructose corn syrup. That’s the one thing that I didn’t like about the Grow bars.

$1.00 per bar would be a good price. I can’t believe how many people are recommending $1.50-$2.00. The Grow bars were already available for that price or cheaper from internet distributers ever since they came out. If Biotest follows their current in-house pricing philosophy they will beat those prices - so $1.00 sounds better. (In fact DPS was selling Grow Bars for $10.99/box several months ago - I bought 12 boxes).

  1. .75 cents a bar! Thinking of GNC’s 20% of day’s 1-7 of each month. I can usually get a box of 12 or 24 for 5-10 bucks. Biotests Grow! and Surge was lower than any deal available so that took care of that dilemma. I think .75 would take care of any second guessers.

  2. Cookies N Cream if possible. Best flavor I have ever had. Premier protein carried the cookies n cream. Best tasting bar I ever had. However, if the price is right, taste would be a secondary function. If possible though, it would only add to the greatness of the bar…

I just had a fantastic Grow! shake and I was struck with a really good idea. How about a Grow! bar that tastes like…GROW!! Then you’d have the best tasting powder and bar on the market. Keep it simple…just give us Chocolate and Vanilla bars that taste as good as the powder.
