Good work and good luck, I’ll be following along.

Awesome idea going with Shelby, he’s a great coach.

Dude, you are honestly looking 50x better than you were in your last thread. I am so glad to see the improvements you had made after the sacrifices you took last prep.

As everyone said, you are starting off with a way better package this time around.
thanks Lonnie. you definitely don’t have to get fat to see improvements in the off season. so far this prep I’ve dropped only 10 lbs.

Your physique is nice. You have a good base. Your legs dominate… Like a lot.
thanks, for reference my legs did not used to dominate at all, here is a pic from Nov 2012

I dont know if I’ve reached cartoonish status yet. but thank you, thst is a great complement. I will say I am proud of the genetic frame I’ve been given though

Excited dude, followed your last prep. And this year you’ve seem to made some solid improvements. Good luck!

Actually, i meant it like your proportions look weird/cartoonish, especially the back double bicep. Maybe its just the angle.

Holy shit, wtf have you been doing? Looking amazing. Might need to work on the rear poses a bit though, lol.

to sum it up as easily as I can

off season:
focus on slowly ramping up calories while not getting fat
focus on increasing strength in squat, deadlift and decline presses
train high volume…about 15 to 20 sets per body part weekly
train quads and hams 2x a week, one day heavy , one day pumping.

precontest:
training stays exact same
hit on the bike ( this keeps quads huge while burning body fat) doing 2 sessions à week now
moderate amounts of med intensity cardio. doing 4 sessiond at 30 mins à pop currently
NONE OF WHICH ARE DONE MORNING/FASTED
focus on péri workout nutrition… shelby has à spécial workout nutrition protocol ive been using. i think this is really helping my performance in the gym

Wow, great work, you made vast improvements since the previous contest thread.

Great progress man! VERY evident that you have put in some hard work and it shows. Good luck with the prep will be following.

yup

Thanks for posting the workouts, similar to what I’ve been doing lately, so good sign for me (I even prefer Decline Pressing as you do).

Good luck with your prep. definitely excited to see how you look on stage compared to last year.
