I dont get enough vegetables…(Because I rather eat meat and dont want to cook veggies) so I decided to try this product that the guy at the nutrtion store suggested…What do you guys think?I take one serving a day.
Adding greens first or greens plus is a good idea, but how hard is it to make veggies? Buy some pre-cut green peppers, cauliflower/broccoli, mushrooms or baby spinach at whole foods or wherever and throw the green peppers/spinach/or mushrooms into your eggs in the morning, or steam some broccoli/cauliflower for 10 minutes. It’s really not that hard, and speaking from personal experience, you’ll feel a lot better with veggies and fruits in your diet than with just greens plus/first.
The easiest way to get your veggies in is to just buy loads of green beans throw them in a pot, boil them for 5-10 mins. Stick them in your fridge and eat a portion with every meal. You can drizzle them with olive oil and sprinkle salt or chilli’s for taste. Make a habit of doing it…

A vegetable in fresh form will always be better, true. But a powder blend has the advantage of offering numerous different substances, all with different nutrients, all in 1.
Ingredients like barley grass, wheat grass, chlorella, and spirulina are loaded with huge amounts of various nutrients – many of which probably have yet to be discovered.

I’m sure there are nutrients in various forms of green juice that have yet to be discovered. But, the same can be said for the staple vegetables which are also known to have very healthful properties. And on top of that they are also loaded with fiber. And fiber is one of many things missing in a “juice” product.
Whenever you get something fast you usually give up something better.

Im not saying one is better than the other.
Im saying that with a blend, you have the advantage of getting nutrients from many different sources, some of which have nutrients that probably arent found in your staple vegetables.
It would be hard to eat 15-30 different kinds of vegetables on a daily basis.
Fiber is another story, but you can get fiber from many sources.
Don’t limit yourself to just one. Its like people asking, “which is better to do, pullups or chins?”

First, you must start with actually reading what the guy is taking…this isn’t a green juice he is taking it is a greens blend powder containing about 50 different fruits, veggies etc including fiber.
this is not just the squeezed juice from them. These are very healthy in and of themselves. Also, thy guy said he isn’t getting enough in the first place so he’s adding to that with this…how can you bag on somebody for that???

Thanks…I was going to say to please read the ingredients and make up of the formula before posting any advice…I do not know what the needed daily intake is for veggies and if someone knows…does the Greens first formula agree with what is needed? Thanks again.

lol are u kidding? just drink it and not bitch about thats how.
If you can’t drink the powder why don’t you try Supreme Greens, that is what I have been using and I like it very much. You take either 4 capsules once or twice a day and that gives you between 7-14 servings a day of concentrated greens. Pm me if you need a link for the product.

I eat plenty of greens but supp with this type of product as well. it is equal to SIX servings of greens per scoop!!! The product I use is actually very good.
It contains about 17 different greens as well as 13 different fruits. It also includes probiotic cultures, milk thistle, milled flax, omega-3. I actually add it to my protein drinks to IMPROVE the flavor of them.
Its from Purity Products called triple greens. They also make triple reds, oranges and purples. They are all outstanding, healthy and taste good.
